If Harry was a Horcrux and affected the Dursleys, why weren't Ron, Hermione and his other friends affected as well and mean to Harry.
No one would have looked in the Shrieking Shack or, for those who only watched the movie, that small place whefe he was killed, no one would've thought he was there.
Snape couldn't have known that Voldemort was going to use Nagini to kill him, maybe he did not even think he'll die.

The whole harry is a horcrux theory might not hold water because it was prophesied that he was the chosen one. Being the chosen one kind of means he wouldn't generate the bad juju vibes of a horcrux. They acted that way because Petunia felt that way about her sister because she was magical and her parents praised her. Having to raise her nephew was just a reason to look down on magic and prove a point about her sister.

Wait 2: 50 is possibly wrong. In the 2nd book harry fights with the basilisk. The basilisk bites harry and it's fang touches Harry's body. As we know basilisk fangs can destroy horcurz. Hermione and ron destroy the Hufflepuff cup with it, so as harry was a horcurz his horcurz would probably be destroyed when the fang bit him. This is just my theory. Pls no hate

10: 03 lily & james were already dead when sirius was sent to Azkaban. Remember, sirius was accused of telling voldemort where lily & james lives and Peter pettigrew framed him by setting off an extremely powerful explosive curse which killed 12 muggles and that's why he was imprisoned in Azkaban.

The Durleys were always mean. remember on the 1st movie when professor mongonigal asked dumbledor if he is sure he wants to leave Harry with them cause shes been watching them and they are horrible kind of mogals. So they didnt treat him bad cause of that but cause petunia was jealous of lily.

For the McGonnigal theory, she never checked on Harry because she never had time to check on him. It was her that actually duplicated the letters to make them flood the Dursleys house and I thing she even told hand what was going on so McGonnigal actualy cared for Harry

For there to be a thousand students at Hogwarts, you would need to be able to fit them all in the Great Hall during assemblies. I recon 300 to 400 students at Hogwarts is more realistic.
