How does the old FREAKY FRIDAY stack up against the new FREAKY FRIDAY? Here are 10 surprising differences between these two movies. Disney has been on a remake kick the last few years, and Freaky Friday is the latest film to get rebooted! Disney first made a Freaky Friday film in 1976, and another one in 1995. But the most famous, by far, is the 2003 film starring Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis. This hilarious movie was released in theatres, and was incredibly successful. On August 10, 2018, Disney is releasing a new version of Freaky Friday as a Disney Channel Original Movie. This movie stars Cozi Zuehlsdorff and Heidi Blickenstaff as the teen daughter and her mother who just cant get along. Thanks to a little magic, they end up swapping bodies. And were pretty sure theyll have a great relationship after they have to spend some time in each others bodies. While the general plot has stayed the same, there are some major differences in the 2018 and 2013 movies. Weve got the scoop on ten differences! I prefer all versions of movies and books, but the original was done (mother / daughter) is a book written by Mary Rodgers in 1972. The first film was made in 1976 with Jodie Foster (daungher) and Barbara Harris (mother) (Barbara unfortunately she died. Other adaptations have been made in 1995, 2003, 2018 and in 2020 as a horror movie. The original name was Annabelle (in the book and 1976 version and 1995 version, Anna in 2003 version and Ellie in 2018 version. There is also the original version (father / son) from the 19th century (1882) written by Thomas Anstey Guthrie (and he unfortunately died). The boy's name is Dick. And this book has inspired many movies. And of course both versions of books. Rip Barbara and Thomas are sad for everyone's death, but they end up in such a beautiful place, where they have everything they want. All versions are very special, congratulations to those who made them.

When you say original you are referring to the SECOND remake of this. The FIRST had Jodie Foster. Then there was a TV movie remake with Shelley Long as the mom. THEN there was this one. This reminds me of when this movie came out and we were playing the CD soundtrack in our record store and a number of us were singing along to the Simple Plan version of Happy Together and one of our younger employees was like wow! You guys all learned this song SO fast! and we had to tell him it was a cover of the Turtles.

The original stared Jodie Foster and Barbara Harris. The remake was Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis. This new one is the third version. If you are going to state a 'fact' then make sure it is correct.
