I think I have an explanation for Dumbledores hiring methods. Quirrel: Was actually a pretty good teacher, and because Voldemort had possessed him he would have been able to protect his mind from Dumbledore. Or maybe Voldemort just hadnt possessed him yet when the interview happened. Lockhart: Dont really have an explanation for this one but he might have thought that Lockhart had learned from watching other people who were ACTUALLY good at Defense Against the Dark Arts. Lupin: Lupin took wolfsbane and was a great teacher. Moody/Crouch Jr: For one Moody was an accomplished auror and knew a LOT about Defense Against the Dark Arts. Crouch was a great occlumens, so he would have been able to protect his mind from Dumbledore. Umbridge: Umbridge was the ministrys choice not Dumbledores, so blame them. Snape. Dumbledore knew he would turn out to be good in the end. Carrow: Carrow wasnt chosen by Dumbledore. And the other teachers were fine, so there you go.

Harry Potter Isn't For Kids, Its For About 8-9 Year Old's And Up For The First Movie Untill The 3rd Movie, Then It Gets To Where You Should Probably Wait Till Your About 11-12 For The Last Movies Because Of Language And Violence To Where Kids Might Get Scared Of Harry Potter.

Secondly. MAGIC MAGIC MAGIC. Any problem we see is solved by simple realizing that this is a MAGIC SCHOOL where kids are protected by teachers who can freeze fall damage and even if they couldn't. THEY CAN MEND AND/OR GROW NEW BONES BACK IN LESS THAN A NIGHT! I see no problem.

I'm sorry, but what is the point in nitpicking a fantasy story for logic? Besides, I think the Harry Potter series teaches children so many more life lessons than say, the unhealthy relationship examples that Disney teaches.

Next time someone says Harry Potter is for kids. Either show them this video or go on a long rant about child abuse, child and adult life endangerment, slavery, bullying, manipulation, PTSD, racism, death and still more.

So many of these are incorrect or just speculative and can be cleared up quite easily. One being the mandrakes weren't fatal at that stage when the students were in the room.

I never actually thought about how many students fell from the moving staircases. did anyone else think about it or is it just me?

The worst thing Fred and George did to Ron (Possibly the worst thing they've ever done) is when they made him make the unbreakable vow

I ask to add to that list, not investigating the Triwizard tournament since four champions are wrong. how did that happen? plot hole
