from TheThings, we reveal the top 10 differences between the Little Women novel and its brand new 2019 film adaptation RebeccaBeans: Worst remake of all time. I walked out after 20 min after paying $27 for heated seats and $16 for popcorn and soda. It was that bad. Grown women playing 10 year old children. Skips back and forth from past to present but uses same actresses playing the children as adults. Horrible acting and impossible to follow the story line unless you have the entire book memorized. Brought my daughter and she hated it because she couldnt understand one second of it. Dont have 30 year old women playing the part of an elementary age child. my god! Horrible movie. Can't believe I wasted Christmas money on this crap

This looks awful. Might be a good movie if youve never read the book or seen any other movies, but this is too many unnecessary changes that seem like they wouldnt have made anything any better anyway. The only movie Ive enjoyed was the 90s one, this is just too far from the story, no point. In this video no mention of the men either, are they even in the movie? They played a huge part in the story. Im going to read the book again and then watch the movie. I never enjoyed the older ones.

This seems more based on comparing movies to each other; the mentions of Any are about the 1994 movie not the book. Shes absolutely aware of her familys status and the book says she feels it the most keenly. She has a speech in the novel about money and men having power and why she needs to marry a rich man.
Much of the rest of this is just a visual medium vs a written one. Of course a movie focuses more on looks.

Everyone: Talks about different movie adaptions if talking about differences.
No one: Mentions that this movie is the closest adaption, but has still the big difference: Amy doesn't travel with Aunt March in the book, but with Aunt and Uncle Carol and Cousin Flo. I hate it that they are again excluded.

Did anyone feel like marmee had more control of her daughters in the 94 version? It was probably gretas writing but marmee in the 19 version was very liberal for lack of a better word and didnt really control or educate or discipline. They acted much more like women in the 94 version.

She hasn't read the book so she does not know what she is talking about. The differences are quite significant. Having said that, THIS Laurie is like the one I always imagined.

Hahahahaha. Florence PUG. Hahahaha. Shows you how illiterate the voiceover is and how little effort and research goes into these these cut and paste videos.

Hello-
i think it would be deadly for a film version of a literary classic to be letter faithful to the novel. a little adaptation never hurts.

i prefer the 2019 version to the 1994 i must say even if i watched it all my childwood and it was one of my grand mother favorite movie.
