We love to think that being an actor or an actress would be the best job in the world and it would be easy to find an actual star that would agree with that statement. Yet, sometimes there are things that these performers are required to do that crosses the line and even can lead them to consider quitting the project entirely. Jennifer Lawrence almost quit both her roles as Katniss in The Hunger Games and Mystique in the XMen, because of difficulties with her makeup and prosthetics as well as the heavy costumes she was required to wear. Emma Watson almost walked away from the iconic role of Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films several times, with the first being to focus on her schooling and the second time because she was uncomfortable filming an extensive scene in freezing cold temperatures. Jeremy Renner may finally be getting center stage as Hawkeye in the Disney+ series but he had initially asked the creative minds at Marvel to kill the famed archer character off as he was unhappy with his role in the first Avengers film. Jim Carrey wanted to ditch his role as The Grinch in the liveaction film because he couldnt stand sitting hours in the makeup chair but it was not until the producer brought in his friend from the CIA that he got his senses talked into him. Stanley Tucci landed his first Oscarnomination for his work in The Lovely Bones, but he initially considered quitting the role because of its disturbing nature. While in plenty of these cases, its understandable why these stars almost quit, it would be hard to see another actor filling their shoes in these roles

Movies can push their heroes and villains to the breaking point, but sometimes, it's the actors who consider just giving up.
Some people might think that actors have it easy, without realizing that every time you see them playing dead, taking a dive, fending off live birds or their co-stars, it means they actually had to do it over and over, for days on end. That kind of stress can lead to tears, fights, and sometimes, the actor threatening to abandon the movie completely.

Although I have to disagree with Zoe Saldana as it is proven the movie industry is very toxic a number of times and she is getting better treatment because of these same number she talked about. No matter how much talented you are some people will still look at the numbers.
