In 2016, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them revealed that Johnny Depp was going to play a new character in the Harry Potter universe, Gellert Grindelwald, along with Eddie Redmayne and Jude Law. Unfortunately, he had just been accused of domestic abuse against his wife, Amber Heard. Today, youll know everything about this as we talk about the controversy surrounding Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. Johnny Depp and Amber Heard got married in 2015 but divorced only one year after in 2016. This was when the actress got a temporary restraining order against Depp because she accused him of domestic violence. She had many proofs, including some pictures of what we did to her, some text messages that his assistant sent her, and a video of Johnny Depp being aggressive. After an agreement, the couple officially divorced and Amber withdrew her restraining order. But director David Yates and screenwriter J. K. Rowling had to defend him when they decided that he was still going to be part of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. But just wait until you see what J. K. Rowling did when a fan asked her a question on Twitter! Stay tuned if you want to hear more about the controversy surrounding Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald including what David Yates and J. K. Rowling said in 2016 and how they replied to people who criticized their choice in 2017. Do you think that Johnny Depp should be part of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald or not? And yes I think according to the rule of law it's just not fair to play the judge when none of us know what happened. It's a complicated issue but I agree with them that we can't be too quick to believe either side. People do make false accusations and people also make truthful accusations. We have to look at the facts. He was never convicted. There's no precedent for this kind of behaviour from him in his past. The two settled on their divorce, protection orders were withdrawn, and they went their separate ways. It just has nothing to do with us anymore. I think if another accuser came out it would bear more weight like with other abusive people with fame and power we usually come to unravel a long history of abusive behaviour. Someone generally isn't abusive just once off, but multiple times. In this case there's just enough evidence to fairly judge him so we should stay out of it. He isn't having any behavioural issues on set either so it further shows that this doesn't seem to be his true nature, as well as his ex wife and daughter coming out to defend him put a lot more support on his side too. Abusers have a lot of trouble changeing their spots without heavy psychological intervention. It just doesn't make sense that he's had a clean record until now and then suddenly boom one accusation and no one trusts him anymore? We have to think more rationally about these sorts of things instead of reactionally and emotionally. Yes there are a lot of men who hurt women. Too many. But every. Case. Is. An
Individual. Women hurt men too, men hurt other men, women hurt other women. And we just cannot have our stereotype glasses on when judging something so serious about someone.

It's more complicated than that. Before I start, I want to protect myself so, I do not gaurantee the validity of this story and I do not take any legal responsiblity for any compromising conclusions by any person or organisation.
Apparently the story is, Johnny had no interest in doing more Pirates of the Caribbean after STRANGE TIDES. He admitted in a close circle, the series has lost it's juice but the studio doesn't want to stop. In the meanwhile, Warner Bros had approached him with more interesting and bigger project, that is Fantastic beasts.
FB have 5 films in the pipeline. Johny wanted to get out Disney contract completely so that he can start with Warner Bros.
Disney created every hurdle to make sure he doesn't go away. Johnny's lack of interest and Disney's stubbornness created a difficult situation for both parties.
A lot that happened in his personal life may or may not be the result of his complicated relationship with Disney.
After continous labouring negotiations, lack of solution, and several incidents of bad mouthing Depp, Disney eventually sacked him.

Only the two actors know what really happened, yea and she came forward and told us what happened, when is the world going to LISTEN and RESPOND when woman cry out.
extraordinary talent? thats not in debate, that doesn't matter when it comes to abuse, that's not what were talking about.
And just because he didn't abuse his other girlfriends means nothing, the man that abused me never abused his girlfriends in the past either.

Wait a minute the actress Amber Laura Heard who divorced was actually Mera for both Batman 18 - Aquaman & 19. 93 - Justice League? Amazing plus Johnny Christopher John Depp who played all 9 good guys who played Gellert Grindelwald in Harry Potter 1 - Fantastic Beasts 1 Where to Find Them now returned as Gellert Grindelwald in Harry Potter 2 - Fantastic Beasts 2 Crimes of Gellert Grindelwald set in Paris, France 1927? I totally support J. K. Rowling's decision to keep Johnny Depp in the movie. He did a GREAT job as always. Nobody was there to witness what happened between Johnny and Amber but if it was truly that serious then Amber would not have retracted anything. Giving the money to charity was a noble act but if she want happy in the marriage then get a divorce and walk away.

Depp is the ONLY non British actor in the HP movies. Just because he has a home in Britain does not make him a Brit. Personally, I am sick to DEATH of him stumbling in to every damn movie out there. Dad and I went to the most recent of the Pirates movies to see Paul McCartney ONLY.

The movies and books by J. K. Rowling are just amazing! To me, it is the directors decision to use who they seem fit to play character parts. I have faith the correct actor has been chosen. I'm excited for this movie to be released and can't wait to see it!

I love Johnny Depp hes a great actor, and he did a great job as Grindlewald. It really should be redundant now that there are no charges and the couple have a divorce agreement. Maybe we should all mind our own business and just enjoy the movies!

Whoever wants to punish an actor and damage his professional life for what he does in his private life should die on a cross. (specially when its about such a good actor that a lot of people love)
