Its no secret that when it comes to blockbuster films mainstream media loves to focus on the actors and directors the most and while these individuals are extremely important behind the scenes of franchises like the Fantastic Beasts include the hard work of thousands of individuals. And without the expertise of these individuals, we wouldnt have the final products we see on the big screen months and sometimes years later. This is especially true of the costume and makeup department. Being a film that takes place basically one hundred years in the past, costuming is essential to setting the scene and atmosphere in the film. Not to mention the characters are part of the wizarding world making everything that more eccentric! But creating this 1920s magical extravaganza didnt come without its cost both literally and figuratively. With overcoming the challenges of making vintage clothing moveable, outfitting thousands of actors a day, and trying to keep Johnny Depps prosthetics transformation underwraps, the behind the scenes of the Fantastic Beasts were more chaotic than taking a trip into Newt Scamander's suitcase. Being part of such a big named franchise has its perks, but it also comes with the expectation and added pressure of being a huge success something that definitely affected how both the actors and set workers approached every little detail. Youre about to see the reason why costume designer Colleen Atwood landed the world of Harry Potter its first Oscar. What was your favourite makeup or costuming moments? Let us know below

Acting isn't all fun and games, and it's often quite rough.
Modern CGI can bring almost anything a filmmaker can imaginable to life, allowing for endless creative possibilities. However, CGI isn't the be-all and end-all, and often the best visual results can be achieved by instead poping an actor into a physical suit. The only downside is depending on the film these costumes can be massive and heavy, making for a not so fun time on set. And can even push some actors to breaking point, causing them both physical and psychological harm.

Painful makeup prosthetics that put actors through hell.
Its hard to feel sorry for millionaire movie stars, but spare a thought for these poor souls who suffered for their art by submitting to some seriously painful prosthetics.

1: 30 my brain does not have enough cells left to decide whether she is saying Johnny is being put back in as Grindelwald for the third movie or if he is being replaced

The fact that they have to walk around in all that makeup and stuff, which mind you takes a really long time, then only to do it again the next day Must be annoying.
