We re all so excited to see Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart bring their super pet characters to life in DC League of Super-Pets. This DC comic universe is crawling with incredible voice actors like Kate McKinnon, Natasha Lyonne, Keanu Reeves, Dascha Polanco, and many others. One of the few things we love about this film is all of the improv!
Did you know the director, Jared Stern, gave the cast a lot of comedic freedom when it came to going off script? It definitely paid off in an organic, hilarious way. There were also a ton of behind-the-scenes antics and pranks in between recording specifically between our favorite bromance, Kevin and Dwayne. Tortilla slap, anyone?
Another cool thing about this movie is that it s loosely based on a series of comic strips from the 1960s titled Legion of Super-Pets. We ve also got the incredible Keanu Reeves behind the voice of the already iconic Batman. Keanu is a huge fan of anything Batman, so he was absolutely stoked to get a call from Warner Brothers about playing the character.
Definitely a good day in his books. We ve got tons of behind-the-scenes footage and interviews that dig deep into what makes this family-friendly film one of the best-animated films of the year.
Lord: I really love how the adorable pets which have superpowers saved Justice League! This movie is amazing and it tells us that dogs are loyal to humans. I almost cried when Ace told his story to Krypto. Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart literally voiced their characters so well! Date: 2022-08-01
