YOU Behind The Scenes

video description

Rating: 4.0; Vote: 1

Netflixs series YOU has taken the streaming world by storm becoming one of the mostwatched series on the platform ever and its really no surprise when they have Penn Badgley as their leading man. Joe Goldberg has charmed and spooked us while simultaneously putting viewers' stomachs in knots all in one episode. But what we want to know is how Penn was able to pull this off? What did YOU really look like behind the scenes and how much prep went into bringing this chilling story to life? While the behind the scenes of a television show is drastically different from the final product we see on our screens, that didnt stop the cast of YOU from being seriously creeped out by Penn as Joe and having to film in some unideal sets that triggered some major anxieties. Actors like Victoria Pedretti and Shalita Grant didnt hold back when it came to sharing their experiences and itll have you wondering just how they were able to pull off multiple seasons of this show in the end. YOU faced a ton of challenges from originally being canceled, having to take major safety precautions and training courses, and then dealing with filming and adjusting the script to what the COVID19 pandemic would allowready to find out how they were able to overcome it all? Its hard to believe that YOU was this close to never even making it onto the streaming platform in the first place. Once again we have the Netflix execs to thank for saving such an incredible show from network television. What was your favorite behindthescenes moment? Let us know in the comment section below

I didn't even realize the meaning of Love and Forty, but it obviously makes so much sense!
But I also thought Love was meant to be objectified, because love was this unreachable ideal for Joe.

Hesitant to take a high profile role? The show was on lifetime first, even if it was on Netflix there was no telling that it wouldve been a hit or high profile

At first I thought that Love wasnt as good as Beck in acting. After a few episodes I changed my mind. Both are great. Love You, the best series so far.

Victoria is amazing. Her facial expressions and intensity make you fall in love with her character. I hope we get to see her talent in more shows/ movies.
