The original powers and characters are interesting to know but I would also prefer the movie line up. The powers are more distinct, reflect their characters, and more relevant in the story. The originals' powers sound typical to me. But I would love to see more gifted characters. Disney should really create a series.

Another good thing about leaving out the city scene is that it leaves us without any real idea of when the movie takes place, which I think is a good call. The only hints we have are the fashions, which puts it sometime in the 20th century.

the forest scene makes total sense. Isabella never wanted that dude that was supposed to propose to her. she was in love with costume dude. but she was gonna do it for the family because abuela. what is not to understand about that?

They should of went more in depth to the storys of the siblings. They moved too fast. They had so many plot lines that only had like a minute or 2 of screen time. Its the only thing I dont like about the movie

i feel like i was waiting the entire movie to see more of the rooms. it shows such great insight into their personalities, plus those scenes were absolutely amazing to watch

Since the movie took place in 1950, Abuela going back to city after 50 years probably bears so much weight on her. Plus the city probably doesn't know that Encanto exists.
