Also, heres a fun fact about Shirley Henderson: she played Leonora Braham, the originator of the role of Yum-Yum in _The Mikado_, in the film _Topsy Turvy_, the film about Gilbert & Sullivan and their development of well, _The Mikado_.
And yes, she even did her own singing voice, as did all the actors who played the cast of the opera. Theres also a few other actors who would go on to do _Harry Potter_, such as Jim Broadbent (Slughorn) as Gilbert, Timothy Spall (Pettigrew) as Richard Temple (the Mikado, and even Sullivan was played by Allan Corduner, who went on to voice Snape, Filch and Flitwick in the video games.

I have been a huge fan of the books and the movies, my fav, though is Prof. Snape. But I just really adore David Bradley's Filch I keep thinking there could be such a back story that is extremely interesting, even a bit sentimental and tragic. I mean his cat has to be a Maledictus, or so I imagine.

When Oldman did Dracula, he insisted that he be allowed to do an East European accent. I think Coppola wanted him to sound more English like the Lee version, but Oldman basically told him that it was either the accent or nothing. That version of Dracula was later parodied by Leslie Nielsen

Ive never heard Jason Isaacs do an American accent until Star Trek: Discovery, where he deliberately sounded a little Southern to sound more army. And now hes playing a House-like American doctor in Good Sam

Its jarring to go from seeing Bellatrix to seeing Carter act as a princess in The Kings Speech (although maybe not as jarring as not hearing the speech therapist say yarrr once)

They must be good actors for none of them resemble anything like their true characters in their private lives or is it the other way around.

I keep forgetting Gary Oldman is British. Sorry. Just used to seeing him as Commissioner Gordon on the Batman trilogy.
