Behind The Scenes Of Dreamworks' The Bad Guys Animated Movie The Bad Guys is rolling into theatres, bringing along with it a fresh new take on animation. Its combining some 2D and 3D elements. It is making itself out to be an introduction to the genre of action for a younger generation, and also a cheeky nod to some of cinemas best action movies like the Tarantino ones for example. The choreography and the action sequences were all working off of the same principle and thats storytelling comes first. But also, now that were in the world of animation, how can we take this story type and subvert expectations? The music in this movie, like the animation style, is a blend of a bunch of different stuff. And Good Tonight almost wasnt included in the movie! This is Pierre Perifels directing debut, not including a short film hes done in the past. He hasnt had enough time to be corrupted by the status quo. Weve all got at least one unique story in us. Recruiting the actors was a pretty smooth endeavour. Awkwafina and Alex Borstein were more than happy to play strong characters. Craig Robinson was denied the opportunity to work improv skills but he did get to play around within his vocal range a lot and try a bunch of stuff so he still enjoyed his experience. Sam Rockwell and Marc Maron got special recording privileges that the rest of the cast didnt necessarily get as much of. Lilly Singh and Zazie Beetz were just thrilled to be able to express themselves more freely than film usually allows. The Bad Guys is gonna be a good one, we can just tell

This film has a lot of heart and love poured into it and it shows in every frame and performance from the voice actors. I wish the other characters had more time to be fleshed out, but I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this film. I heard Pierre was interested in doing a sequel, and I hope this happens. There is a lot of potential with this universe and characters.

The Bad Guys is a story with everything, It has great characters, an amazing story, depth and meaning, and plot twists that even we didn't see coming. So, basically, Mr. Wolf and his friends, Mr. Snake, Mr. Shark, Ms. Tarantula, and Mr. Piranha, are the scariest villains in the entire world, known for their daring heists.

I just warched this movie yesterday and it was SO GOOD! They really did do an amazing job with the story and animated, the animation is what first drew me to the movie cause it was unique with looking comic-esque but still being animated

I do hope this movie is the start of a new golden age of animation that was kickstarted by Into The Spiderverse. The visuals look amazing and every frame looks like its own art piece.
