Cruella brought fashion as weve never seen before in a Disney film and as the saying goes, Beauty is pain. Emma Stone dealt with heavy costumes and a very intricate mask. Emma Thompson struggled as well, dealing with high heels, champagne, and a bunch of dalmatians yikes! When Maleficent was brought to the screen, Angelina Jolie went through a major transformation that involved painful prosthetics and custommade leather horns. It might be many girls' dream to wear Cinderellas glass slipper but the reality isnt so sweet. How did Lily James cope with a shoe that was so incredibly painful and illfitting? Richard Madden struggled with the size of certain costume pieces as well his pants in particular. Diving into a whole new wardrobe for Aladdin and Jasmine saw beautiful results, but heavy and often overwhelming costumes for both Mena Massoud and Naomi Scott. Which actor didnt wear a costume at all, but a giant motion capture suit that was made even harder to maneuver with teninch stilts involved! This costume was so rough it actually affected the actors costar as well, making their work together a bit tougher than they could have imagined.
