Self doubt is the most common weakness in real life so it kind of makes sense for Rogue. It could be argued that it is her fear amplified by the fear of everyone on whom she has used her power. She doesn't just gain their powers after all. She gains their memories and she feels what they feel with a touch. That has got to mess with the psyche. It wouldn't directly affect her, but her belief that her powers are uncontrollable would disincentivised any significant effort to control much less master her power.

Kitty had a rough time bc that bullet was made out of a different kind of metal. It was unique enough for magneto to -get a taste- of it when it was near earth and for him to sense it within deep space to bring her back. Also, she doesn-t have an issue with phasing through adamantum, but she does find it difficult to phase through Vibranium since her power is somewhat related to vibrating in order to phase. At least that-s how her powers used to be described when it comes to how they work

Cyclop's -weakness- is not dumb. It actually makes a lot of sense. It is because his -weakness- makes sense why it is not dumb. He can't control his powers because of a head injury he suffered. Had he not suffered the injury he would be able to control his powers, and not need his glasses and the ruby quartz visor.

Actually if I recall correctly used to happen between cable and striped at the point where strike managed to take over cable from time to time. What year did Nate grey and Nathan Summers having the whole psychic interference working right each other doesn't make sense to me

LOL, you kinda make cyclops sound damn boring when not explaining why he has that weakness in the first place. its more of a disability than a weakness as he once was able to control his own powers just like his brother havoc can.

You cant say dumb weakness if one person is a counter. Wolverine just needs to stay clear of magneto, he will out live him. Even if magneto ripped out wolverine metal spine. Im sure his bones will grow back.
