I was a BIG fan of Spiderman, Ghostrider & Punisher 2099, but my favorite for the era was by far DOOM 2099. Doom wasn't so much a 'superhero' for that age, as he was perhaps moreso an 'anti-hero', not exactly belonging to the villains or the heroes, but in a class all by himself. Doom determined that age needed an architect of the era, & he was determined -to be the architect of that future. -.

This list definitely needs a part 2. The 2099 Daredevil, Capt. America, Ironman was really interesting, the F4, even some of the characters from the Timestorm event were pretty slick. The Inhuman Torch that I -think- was an Atlantean was pretty cool. Not to mention their Sub-Mariner named Roman. Individuals from the X-Men of that time period were also noteworthy like Metalhead and Skullfire.

No X-men 2099? I think Skullfire should be up there(of course he needed to streamline his control.
These are tough lists to do, I commend you. Punisher is only there thanks to his equipment which I sometimes felt was a little out there.
Anyway, this definitely needs a -10 more- sequel.

Hand down my favorite Marvel 2099 comic character was Spider-Man. However, I also liked Doom of 2099 and knowing that Deadpool is still around in the year 2099, really makes me smile.

I'm sorry that Deadpool's daughter in this comic isn't as humorous and snarky as her father. Shame. I would've loved it if she was.
