Loki is at his rivalry best when he is next to Thor! He has the intelligence, experience, and tricks to be a royal pain to Thor. He is a character we sympathize with but he is evil and incredibly arrogant. It is Always fun to see him get what's coming to him, especially if that's delivered by a mortal.

True Loki would have such extreme injuries as listed above. However he is an Asgardian or Jotunn depending on the continuity. He's a bit more durable but there's no doubt it felt exactly like he was receiving the full pain of all those injuries.
