Hey Amanda, what superhero teams do you think would exist in the reality of -The Man In The High Castle? The Squadron Supreme kind of gives me those vibes.
In all honesty, the only President in The U. S. that wasn't manipulated or controlled by The 1% Banking Families was JFK. Who wanted to end The CIA, End the privately owned bank known as The Federal Reserve, disclose all E. T. information to the public, and wanted to unite the Soviet and U. S. Space agencies. Other than that since 1913 Presidents have been selected and owned. Think of U. S. Presidents as the decoy and fall guy or girl for what The 1% Plutocratic Oligarchs truly want.

Being a person who, as a youth, grew up and went to school in several countries, (including Toronto Canada, eh) I'm pretty much used to, and okay with, people saying (and spelling) things different ways, and that's okay. So however you want to say 712, is great.

And I've been a fan of the Squadron Supreme, and the many other copies of other companies characters, over the years. (Including copies of their own characters) And I'm a big fan of the Squadron, since they first showed up. (Comic reader (nerd) since the 60's)

The reason Power Princess wasn't in the first expanded roster of the Squadron, is because Wonder Woman wasn't in the JLA at the time. This was during the time that WW had been depowered, so the only woman in the JLA was Black Canary, paralleled as Lady Lark. Power Princess first appeared in Defenders #112, where the Squadron and the Defenders defeat Overmind and Null, the Living Darkness.

So Nighthawk becomes president, essentially alternate President Batman. interesting. Also while I'm not bothered by '-seven twelve-, it does seem a tad off as I usually hear ppl say -six one six' and not so much -six sixteen-, though I have heard the latter at times. Either way, good vid.

I collected the first maxi-series (as they called it then) during the 85-86 yr. I tried to sell Marvel a sequel to that series. But they politely declined. Looking back then, the sequel I created wouldn't have workes

I appreciate the video but I am sure the writers of this video and the person in charge of the visuals really have no idea what they are talking about. Thus making a confusing story FAR FAR more confusing.

I absolutely love Squadron Supreme, They are one of my all time favorite superhero teams. The 12 issue series from 1985 will always be one of my favorite comic stories.

I wish dc did something like this. The closest thing was a team based on notable marvel villains instead of heroes. Like Dr doom sabertooth. And I guess the terrifics.
