I liked the timeline on which Victor von Doom became the Ancient One's disciple. When Stephen Strange showed up, asking to have his hands healed, Doom lopped off his damaged hands and replaced them with robotic hands with superhuman dexterity, allowing him to perform better surgery than ever. The Ancient One was disappointed, seeing that Doom had completely failed to understand that what Strange really needed was to have his defective -_heart_- healed.
