Hal Jordan's weakness is not the color yellow. It is the ability to loss WILL power (which is FEAR, the yellow ring-s power) imagine if you have a strong will. Your ring wont be needing to charge from lantern anymore and remain unbeatable at your own will. You can be faster than the Flash, negate magic, block telepathy, create and protect your own army. it will be headache after. -

Comic writers go to extremes on weaknesses. Either it's something extremely rare, like kryptonite, or something like wood or fire, which you'd be hard-pressed to find anything more common. Why not find an element like radium or tungsten as a weakness
