Since one of the two main rules for the stones (that they can't be used to destroy themselves) doesn't apply to the mcu stones is it possible that the other main rule ( that they're ineffective/barely effective outside their own universe) doesn't apply too! That would be amazing to explore!

Just have the avengers in endgame jump back to just before thanos destroys the stones on the garden planet have the interaction go the same as it did in endgame and boom they still have the stones they don't havr to place them back in time thanos is still dead everybody wins

Well it is stated that Infinity Stones can only operate and directly effect their one universe. And that every universe has its own unique Infinity Stones whether that be in number, effects, names, color, etc. So all those unique Stones do exist across the Marvel Multiverse.
