I always wonder how some of these criminals are just so damn smart that they leave literally NO clues. Like no hair, no prints, nothing. Also, I do find it odd, in Short's case, how that one set of prints was on it's way to be test and got compromised in transport. goes along with a theory I had heard about Mark Hansen (one of the prime suspects who had friends on the LAPD) being the one to do the crime.
Also George Hodel. supposedly they had wiretapped his home and had a recording of him talking about the Dahlia murder and how they got too close to talking to his secretary, so she's dead too. although, in that case I say. if they had that type of verbal evidence, how did he not get arrested?
