Fun fact in call of duty the "pay-to-win" Doom shotgun isn't pay-to-win because you can just make the shotgun yourself, The attachments are not exclusive to the blueprint, next the dog, You want to know what game changing advantage that gives you nothing, All the dog does is bark if an enemy is looking at you if you have a certain perk equipment, But you may think oh there you go there's the advantage the perk itself gives you a big ass red indicator on your screen that somebody is looking at you, Just because the dog is barking now doesn't mean anything

EA's NHL franchise should be number one by a mile!
It has stuff you can only earn by spending actual money (microtransactions,
AND is absolutely disgracefully bad as a game.
Achievements disappear, game modes break, etc.
You can pay for stuff, get it, have it disappear, and EA won't respond.
I've been playing the franchise for over 40 YEARS, and it hasn't really been playable in over a decade, but it's all we have, and they know that.

WOHHH the ONLY way Warframe makes this this list is if you don't have the patience to play the game because Warframe is by far the BEST example of F2P done Right!
OK yeah you basically have to buy Warframe & Weapon slots but you CAN get them for free & come on. outside of that literally EVERYTHING ELSE INCLUDING STORY IS FREE! & the game does give you discounts & even platinum bonuses when buying platinum.

There was this MLP mobile game that was very similar to the simpsons one where you had to unlock characters, and then you would get in-game currency to unlock more characters. But if you paid actual money, you got characters that would give more in-game currency. But the game also liked to crash and lose all your progress, and I uninstalled the game

Ok although Battlefront 2 launch was terrible with microtransactions i think its unfair its on this list and not include GTA online or Star wars Galaxy of Heroes. Escpecially Galaxy of Heros. You Can spend hundreds of dollars To get one character To max Who is overpowered for like 1-3 months until next op character is revealed. And cycle continues

The Doom Shotgun is a re-skinned Lockwood shotgun, the same shotgun that has pretty high base range by itself already, this wasn't some secret shotgun that could snipe you from crazy distances, this isn't the KSG from Black Ops 2. People truly have misinterpreted what "Pay-To-Win, " actually means, the same rule applies to other gun bundles.

Where are my beloved War Thunder and Enlisted These two games with is awfull grind system that literally makes you put money either in Premium accounts and Premium Vehicles to progress, although WT in the last year has become more accesible and less painfull after a player revolt from May of 2023

Ooof, just hearing the Candy Crush sound effects hits some weird Pavlovian part of me that distantly makes me wanna open my wallet. I had to delete that game off my phone a full decade ago because i wasnt strong enough to not drop hella cash on it like a full on addict

It's the nba 2k series that's pay to win. The games start you at 60 overall. It's going to cost more than 100 dollars just to get 80 overall plus. This counts towards having an advantage against other people in the park and against the computer in nba games

MW2 is not pay to win. Bluprints dont give an edge and neither do the pets. You can unlock all the stuff for the doom shotgun. Clearly you haven't played it or done the research

Not sure if correct category but Top War is the worst! And people would spend $10s of thousands or more on it! If you were a casual player you would never make it.

That's why on Candy Crush, I save as many gold bars and special candies as possible. I really don't have the money to pay for any of the perks (nor do I need them.

Maplestory felt rigged from the start. I played it back in the early 2000's and gave up on it around 2010. Hated spending days grinding just to level up once.
