Who do you think would win a no-holds barred, Avatar battle royale. You and your forefathers have devastated the balance of this world. And now, we shall pay the ultimate price. Welcome to watch Mojo. And today, we're counting down our picks for the strongest benders in Avatar. The last air bender, and the legend of Kora, we'll be excluding deities like vatu, because let's be real. That would make this list pretty boring. Number 10, zuko, it doesn't matter who I am, but I know who you are. The outcast prince of the fire nation has seen more than his fair share of hardship. And he has a gnarly scar on his face to prove it. But, despite all odds, it only made Zuko stronger, literally. In order to reclaim his throne, he pushed himself to the absolute limit. His time as the blue spirit proved that Zuko doesn't even need his bending to win a fight. Don't worry though. He could still throw fireballs with the best of them. Just ask his sister Ula at this point. It's clear that if you get too close to Zuko and his honor, you're bound to get burned. No lightning today. What what's the matter afraid? I'll redirect it. Number nine, aman, if you're ranking Avatar and Kora villains on menace, aman wins on precedent alone. Put aside the creepy mask and spine-tinkling voice. He can take away a person's bending. I'll give you everything. Just please don't take my bending. Yeah, the word terrifying, doesn't even begin to cover it using nothing more than his nimble footwork and some cuttingedge tech. Aman defeated some of the best benders in all of Republic City, including Lin, bayong, mako and even Avatar Kora herself. Keep in mind, most of that was before he started bloodbending all over the place. I told you, I would destroy you. Considering Aman's brother, tarlock is also a force to be reckoned with. It's clear. The top tier bending runs in their family. It's not a full moon. How are you doing this? There are a lot of things you don't know about me. Number eight, uncle Iro, whatever you do to that spirit, I'll unleash on you tfold. Let it go. Now, where there's smoke. There's Iro, even though he's not as spry as he used to be. Zuko's uncle. Can still put most firebenders to shame. In fact, the only thing that burns hotter than IROS flames is his wisdom. You are not the man you used to be, zuko. You are stronger and wiser and freer than you have ever been. And now, you have come to the crossroads of your destiny. He knows when to pick a fight and when to buy his time. Rest assured. Once io's ready for action, no one wants to be on the wrong side of his. Fire breathing. If you need proof. Look, no further than when he took on an entire army of firebenders to liberate, bosing. Se. Evidently, you don't get a name-like Dragon of the west. For nothing. Number seven, azula, if I sense any disloyalty. Any hesitation. Any weakness at all, I will snuff it out. Flames burn hotter than any other. And no one personifies that. Better than Aula born with an innate talent for firebending. Her raw skills outranked just about everyone else in the entire fire nation, especially if you take her lightning into account as cunning as she is powerful. Aula tracked Ang and his friends all across the world, leaving nothing but blue flames in her wake. Oh, and don't forget, she literally blasted a hole in Ang's back, nearly ending the entire avatar cycle, right then. And there, let's put it this way. Azula's own mother thought she was a monster. And she was. Right. I didn't want to miss my own daughter's corination. Don't pretend to act proud. I know what you really think of me. You think I'm a monster. Number six, toof Bayong, your champion, the blind bandit, the blind bandit, melon. Lord, earthbender master, whatever you call her. Just don't underestimate Toof-Bayong. She's practically a self-taught prodigy with the skills to make even pro-benders, cough up some dirt. Her mastery of the ground is second to none to the degree you could argue, to's one of the most influential earthbenders in existence. After all, she invented freaking metal-bending. Woo! tough, you rule. If this is how capable Toff was as a kid, we can only imagine the kind of feat she accomplished as an adult. Although it's easy to picture since her child. Lynn is a total chip off the old rock-like mother-like daughter, right? Number five, avatar. Roku. I have mastered the elements a thousand times in a thousand lifetimes. Now, I must do it. Once again. Ang's predecessor may look like a happy go, lucky old man. But as soan will attest, you really don't want to get on Roku's bad side. Don't do this. Susan, don't challenge me. It will only end badly. Not that we're surprised when it comes to bending prowess, being the actual avatar is pretty hard to beat with fire water, earth and air at his disposal. Roku had the power to plow through anything in his path, for example, who else can say they fought a volcano and almost won in the end, roku's trust in his best friend, became his Achilles heal. But that doesn't take away from how effective he could be. When his eyes started to glow. Number four, sahir, maybe I forgot to mention something to you. I don't believe in Queens with radical ideas and the skills to back them up. Zahir quickly became one of the most infamous criminals in the four nations. Then harmonic convergence gave him air-bending. You can imagine how that went. It means that when you base your expectations only on what you see, you blind yourself to the possibilities of a new reality. In just a few short months, zahir was proficient enough to break out of prison and compete with bending pros like Kaa and Tenzen. At least they lived through their encounters. Zahir flatout murdered the earth queen, and nearly did the same to Kora too. As if that's not impressive enough. Zahir also learned how to fly, even though Kora eventually beat him. The fight left her traumatized for years. Honestly, we can't blame her. Here is just something else. And though you will never again be reborn. Your name will echo throughout history. Kora, the last avatar, number three, fire Lord Oai. You will learn respect and suffering will be your teacher. Oai. May not have started the 100-year war, but he certainly tried to end it. And like most things in his life, he wanted it to go out with a real blaze of glory by harnessing the might of San's comet. He had the firepower to burn the entire Earth kingdom down to ash. He would have done it too, if Ang hadn't stood in his way. I do have the power. I have all the power in the world to put it into perspective. At one point, Oai was considered the greatest living fire bender in the world. Full stop considering. Ang had to tap into the avatar state to beat him. We believe it.comment, or not. Fire Lord Oai burns. Bright. Prepare to join them. Prepare to die. Number two, avatar, kora, who do you think you are? Why don't you come and find out following up an avatar as influential as Ang is No easy task, but something tells us Kora was born for this. She fights with her whole heart. And while that occasionally gets her into trouble, you can't argue with her track record. Kora exposed a man saved the spirit world, and apprehended Sahir, all within a few years of mastering the elements. Speaking of the elements, coR didn't stop at Earth, fire, water, and air. She also learned how to bend spirit energy itself. Kora definitely had her ups and downs, but if her final stand against Kua is any indication, she's come out, the other end, an avatar you don't want to mess with before we unveil, our top pick here are a few honorable mentions. Kuira, anyone who can beat the Avatar in a one-on one fight deserves some respect. King, boomie-madness, and patience. Make for a devastating combination. Avatar, kyoshi, when she was around, chin the conqueror became chin, the conquered. On that day, we split from the mainland Qara. She can bloodbend and heal herself. You We say more, you're not the only one who draws power from the moon. My bending is more powerful than yours. Hama. Your technique is useless on me. Unilock. Villains. Step aside, this guy actually became a dark avatar. for the most part a solid list! however 1. zaheer should not be on this list. tenzin had him easily in a 1v1. yes he was obv very skilled and gifted but he ultimately did not have nearly enough time to master airbending and be strong enough to be on this list. 2. katara is stronger than zuko 3. zuko shouldnt be on this list. ik hes a fan fav but he is just not a strong enough bender to be jn top ten. 4. if this list were honest, amon, tarrlok, and yakone would all be on this list. i understand why theyre not all on here, it would get repetitive. and im not saying they are THEE strongest, but being able to bloodbend without a full moon is just nuts. not only that but yakone could do it to mass amounts of people, and amon could do it with his mind AND take bending away. with amon specifically i feel like only korra and aang would be able to beat him. (also maybe katara. she might be able to fight against their bloodbending but i doubt she could be able to bloodbend then back without a full moon.

What should be noted about Kuvira's first fight against Korra is that Korra was fresh from having the last traces of the metal poison out of her and she still hasn't been able to deal with her PTSD completely, therefore not allowing her to enter the Avatar State.
So, with the fact that Korra wasn't at the top of her game, it wasn't exactly a fair and equal fight against Kuvira. Of course, Kuvira can still be powerful, considering she beat Suyin in a fight.
And I honestly think Iroh should've been higher. And I'm not saying this because he's my absolute favourite character. The fact that he understood true firebending and invented a technique to redirect lightning are just two factors of just how powerful he is.

Amon was always using subtle blood bending to make attacks slightly off and miss him and made it look like he was dodging perfectly because he knew where the attacks were. Also while Zaheer was a genius and planned things really well his bending was not above Roku level. He lost to Tenzin and was only able to beat him with the help of the rest of the Red Lotus when they cornered him and only was able to compete with Korra while she was weakened and poisoned and still lost. He is a good bender but he is not Avatar level. Also Kyoshi being an honorable mention ranking her below Zuko and Amon Someone only saw the show and knows nothing else about the universe.

let's agree azula & iroh deserve to be in the top 3 right but KORRA deserves her spot. She managed to defeat unalaq & let's mention her battle with zaheer ICONIC right no connection to her past lives but she pulled that & her last battle with kuvira is astounding she was know as the FIRST avatar to metalbend and create new spirit portals, in my history books she makes the number 1 avatar let's give her that.

I'd probably put blood benders above others as outside of other blood benders & the Avatar using the Avatar state there's almost nothing that can stop them. Even Aang used the Avatar state to beat blood bending & Korra got beat badly by Amon only surviving due to plot armor with her suddenly getting air bending after all her bending was briefly disabled

This list is absolute wack on a magnitude level Zaheer on the list but no Tenzin. Roku the 3rd avatar you chose over Kyoshi, Yangchen and Kuruk Amon the literal most boosted bloodbender (confirmed most deadly bending technique) only at 9 Absolutely God awful on every level my expectations were low but HOLY FUUUU

Im sorry but the only reason Ozai is ranked so well is because he was presented as this powerful being in ATLA. In reality he is only a very skilled bender but nothing more than that. Each and every villain from Korra would have probably crushed him. Im kinda not agreeing with that list, sorry.

I'm sorry, but Korra is more powerful than Aang. Her Avatar Spirit is in its prime, making her Avatar State stronger, and we literally see her tear the fabric of reality to create a new spirit portal.
Even the creators have stated that Korra would beat Aang in a fight.

The strongest avatar character besides Aang as he’s the strongest is Katara, Azula, Ozai, and combustion man, but even Jong Jong sho created towers of flame during the liberation of Ba Sing Se during the second passing of Sozin’s Comet

Ok, who put this list together never watched avatar. OMG. This is a ridiculous list. It is agreed that Kyoshi is the strongest avatar that ever lived. Also, Katara is stronger than Azula. Iroh too. Bumi too. This list is terrible Mojo.

Also, if I’m being honest for real Amon versus zaheer blood, bending with when make him useless to move and take away Baldi bending also avatar Roku is even much more stronger and powerful than Kiyoshi

I do not care what people thinks or how Iroh still thinks Azula is evil. But I feel she deserves a redemption arc. Firelord Ozai has treated his children as nothing but prodigies and tools of war.

Regardless if whether or not you believe Azula is a more powerful bender than Iroh
She is definitely the better hand to hand combatant and would no doubt beat Iroh in a non bending fight

Iron deserves higher on the list. When told he needs to kill his brother, he never says once I am no strong enough. Or I couldn’t beat him.
He simply says it isn’t my place.
