Godzilla's kiss of death from Godzilla 2014, him shooting into the hallow Earth from Godzilla vs Kong, his spiral heat ray from Final Wars as well as him destroying MechaGodzilla in Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla 2, him destroying Orga in Godzilla 2000, his atomic breath from Shin Godzilla, his spiral breath in Godzilla vs Destroyah, and his atomic breath scene in Godzilla Minus One are some of my favorite scenes of Godzilla unleashing his atomic breath.

To me I love all of the atomic breaths in Final Wars fell in love when my boy used it to take out Destroyah I will give credit to the Legendary version of Godzilla as well it looks awesome as well as the one he used on Orga and the ones used in the movies with Mecha Godzillas 2 and 3 but my all time favorite will be the one he uses in Giant Monsters all out attack just the power of it the charge up sound and how he used it he first time in the film

I definitely liked these Atomic Breath scenes throughout the Godzilla franchise but I'm surprised Minus One didn't get a mention especially with how it was done with how the dorsal plates rise up and glow when big G is charging his Atomic Breath before they slam back down before he shoots it out, the scene in the city that he dies it will always be my favorite moment

I was getting worried when I didn't see Shin after #3 and #2. I'm glad Shin is recognized for his radiation heat ray as #1. The charge up was amazing and the build up for the first one was so different from others they way the flames just flood the streets. Then the second ray just slices the entire city, cutting through buildings like butter.

Every single godzilla incarnations atomic breath is great, but I mostly liked Godzilla Earths Atomic breath due to it also changing to oxilarry wave and that tail swipe of atomic energy. even liked how damn powerful it was to even be seen out of space too from the earth with destroying void ghidorahs black holes

Godzilla Final Wars remains my favorite Toho Godzilla movie
Perfect way to conclude the original Godzilla franchise by having Godzilla face off with King Ghidorah one last time
And the Burning Spark Heat Ray was beautiful
Can’t believe the 20 year anniversary of Final Wars is this year!

When I Saw minus one I expected a classic Atomic Breath but when he launched that nuke I was kind blown since I didn’t expect it. It shook the whole theatre, and then his roar was bass boosted. Minus One Atomic Breath is one of my favorites

I never thought Shin Godzilla would ever be topped in terms of doing something new with the atomic breath, but then Godzilla Minus One proved me wrong by giving a single blast the power of an atom bomb! So simple yet SO effective!

It’s really interesting ain’t it how it starts off as a misty looking fire breath in 1956 then so on in other films until it becomes a literal laser beam and then gets even more powerful enough to cut through the freaking earth!

Sorry, this list is irrelevant without Minus One Atomic Blast being mentioned. That blast was devastating but an actual story/ cautionary tale of nuclear weapons consequences. All of these are meaningless.

While Shin's is no doubt the greatest atomic breath of all time, I am surprised that Minus One didn't make it on the list, it was pretty damn amazing and my jaw dropped in the theater

The Gareth Edwards one was my favorite! Just the build up alone was amazing cause the marketing did an amazing job of hiding it. Then when Godzilla did it, the pay of was worth it!

The blast from Godzilla Minus One heat ray was by far the coolest and most realistic atomic breath attack I've ever seen. Almost like a real A-bomb going off in a real city.
