I went to work for OSU Med Center 2 years after Swango was caught. I wasn't from the area and I'd never heard of him. Nor did anyone speak of him. Then one afternoon his case came up in the news, right there in the tv in our waiting room. The entire clinic. stopped. Patients, employees, doctors all stared at the tv sets, only breaking their stares about 30 seconds after the report ended. I quietly started questioning those around me. The kindest thing Swango was called was that sick f---. And I certainly agree. He left scars on his victim's loved one, but also on the medical communities he abused. There were certainly huge mistakes made and policies were tightened because of him. A dedicated killer calmly walking among dedicated healers and the realization that he could have been stopped much sooner shocked everyone.

Robert Bowers deserves to be on this list for the Tree of Life shooting in Pittsburgh. Sentenced to death in the summer of 2023, four and a half years after his heinous crime. Same goes for Theresa Knorr for killing two of her daughters, currently denied parole back in 2019 and waiting for another parole hearing in July 2024. The worst part of the Theresa Knorr story is that the cops didn't believe the kids of the Knorr family that the mother is an abuser and murderer, at least until America's Most Wanted and certain detecives took the claims seriously.

I know he's dead now, but my dad told me about Manson once. He would come out for parole, answer the same question the same way, and go right back in prison. I still don't understand why they kept doing that I still don't know. Dad says they couldn't get him life without parole. You know he's a psycho, and his answer is always the same, so why keep doing it

Payton Gendron should be on this list for sure! He was the one who did that hate crime in Buffalo where he killed a bunch of black people! He should've gotten the death penalty, and so should've Greg and Travis McMichael and William Roddy Bryan for the murder of Ahmad Arbery!

I thought Ralph Kaputnik would be in the list. he murdered 13 people by handcuffing them to a bed post and would feed them massive amounts of shrimp. Some autopsies showed that some of the victims had anywhere from 40-50 pounds of shrimp in their stomachs

I would have included David Berkowitz, AKA The son of Sam or the. 44 caliber killer. The difference between him and other serial killers is that he is remorseful for what he had done and he has come to terms that he belongs in prison for the rest of his life.
