This list definitely could have used honorable mentions:
-Wolverine and nightcrawler going ham on the Prime Sentinels
-Jubilee discovering that she could apply her powers for practical reasons like creating razors and skating in Motendo
-Bishop being supercharged by Cyclops and destroying the goblins
-Roberto coming out as a mutant and the heartwarming response from his mother, only for him to learn that she expects him to be closeted
-bastion wiping the floor with the X-Men during their first time counter
-Jean getting payback on Mr Sinister by burning his inherited DNA
-the sheer amount of cameos in the last episode
-Jubilee taking what she learned from Motendo and blasting bastion back
-making Ace of Base's Happy Nation relevant again
There were too many good moments to count.

Cyclops' epic landing in episode 1, numerous cameos, nightcrawler and wolverine teaming up in episode 8, storm bringing in the forecast in episode 1, prime sentinels first appearance, Scott and Jean realise that cable is Nathan, the reappearance of the phoenix, nightcrawler comforting rogue, storm losing her powers and magneto becomes the new leader of the x-men. Sorry if my comment is too long

I started off not sure, but those last three episode had me stay up isntead of going back to sleep. I was so in, i just hope they A. Keep up the momentum and B. Pay off all these teases with other marvel heroes with a team up down the line. Also the fight chero for the major fights were top notch and they always threw in some cool moments with certain characters.

Magneto's monologue is definitely one of the best moments of this incredible show.
Please, do not make me let you down
Once I saw this scene, I immediately understood they get Magneto.
Intimidating, fair, trying his best but scary and firm at the same time.
One of my favorite Marvel characters ever and this show gets him completely

I wasn’t born in the 90s & only watched the first couple of X-Men: TAS episodes before 97, yet it now became one of my favorite shows & inspired me to explore more of the C-Men franchise. Though I do feel like Magneto ripping out Wolverine’s adematium should’ve been on this list.

10 was Gambits sacrifice. I could care less about Prof. X return. You missed when Magneto stripped Wolverine from his adamantium, when Cyclops landed from the sky and then said to me my xmen. And when storm turned the sand into class and destroyed the sentinels in the desert!

I’m looking as some elements for Season 2 & Beyond;
- Apocalypse Returns!
- Wolverine’s X-Force!
- Gambit’s Resurrection!
- Onslaught’s Debut!
- Mother Asanki aka Rachel Summers
- Other Mutants (Mystique, Scarlett Witch, Deadpool, etc)

reply

Is the next season going to be about the X-men finding their way back to the present to deal with Apocalypse What would happen if Professor Charles Xavier, Magento and Beast got En-Sabah-Nur to choose a better path resulting in Apocalypse getting erased from existence
reply

Great list. The return of Phoenix, Jean vs Sinister, Give Em the forecast, Wolverine and Nightcrawler vs the omega sentinels (with PoV teleportation, also come to mind when I think of epic moments from the show. You could honestly do a part 2 easily.

We all know which moment had the emotional weight felt throughout the back half on season 1. Let's not play these games, and always remember his name. it's also the episode that Disney put up for an Emmy nomination. #episode5 # RememberIt
reply

Prof X return should not even be top #10, Charles should’ve just stayed with his bird queen, all he did was make matters worse.
Gambits sacrifice raised the stakes and kept the second half of the season glued together. #magnetowasright

reply

Yeah, Captain America's appearance in the show was awesome along with confronting Rogue despite how powerful she is.
I especially love Spider-Man and Iron Man's cameos in the show. Please let that be a sign.

Top 5 X-Men 97 moments:
1. The X-Men ending up throughout time
2. Magneto ripping the Adamantium off Wolverine
3. Gambit's Sacrifice
4. Rogue fights the Army
5. The X-Men taking down the Sentinels

reply

Storm destroying the sentinels was more epic than most and I thought it was going to actually be #1
How could you leave out the epicness of Ancient sands! Heed my command and reclaim these relics of hatred

reply

Episode 5 is one of the best TV episodes I've ever seen, period. Happy Nation has literally been stuck in my head since the episode aired. This show has been the best thing the MCU put out since WandaVision
reply

The end of Remember It should've been #1. That is such a powerful scene with Gambit's sacrifice, as well as the X-Men finding out about Genosha, and then Rogue holding Gambit without her gloves.
reply

How come we didn't see Professor Charles Xavier turning into Onslaught when he used his psychic powers on Magneto after that metal controlling mutant ripped the Adamantium out of Wolverine
reply

I always hated X-men and comics in general but I absolutely love the more modern incarnation of comic book media as they teach kids about progressive ideas, especially lgbtqmp representation.
reply

Oh good, we're skipping the blabber. - Wolverine
Time out suga' you're playing to kill. - Rogue
I've been in a lot of wars bub.
The brave always die first! - Wolverine
