Akame ga Kill's ending wasn't that bad. The antagonist does die. How does the manga play out
I didn't buy a movie ticket. I actually got the DVD. Word of advice. Do not watch Conqueror of Shamballa before finishing the series. I made that mistake and was confused as hell. At least Star of Milos didn't require watching the entire season to understand. Alphonse also has powers which gives you a clue when it might have taken place.
8: 08 That was pretty funny.
Tokyo Ghoul started to suck after season 1. I could not finish it.
I want a proper follow-up of Panty & Stocking. I heard there's going to be a second season (for real this time hopefully) but I don't know when it will happen. I think Stocking is actually a Nephalem (an angel demon hybrid. It makes sense. Scanty and Kneesocks are probably Panty and Stocking's cousins and if they are that would make them part demon. We don't know who Panty and Stocking's father is. 10: 55 Even the demon sisters are like WHAT THE HELL.
11: 47 She has heterochromia.
Future Diary was at least given an epilogue. That sort of fixes the ending.
13: 39 Are you sure it wasn't the power of friendship
I didn't watch The Promised Neverland and that's probably a good thing.
16: 03 Incest FTW. That's the problem with it
UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie should be on here. The ending pissed me off. They should have ended it on season 3. Sure it would be disappointing but it's not like the 4th season added anything worthwhile.

Melody of Oblivion
The world is secretly controlled by extremely powerful monsters that enjoy killing people. A group called the Mellos Warriors fight back against the monsters, with the help of the ghostly apparition of a girl called The Melody of Oblivion. The Mellos Warriors are searching for her, because it's rumored she holds a power that can defeat the monsters for good. The end reveals an utterly nonsensical plot twist. The monsters can't be wiped out. If all of the monsters are killed, then humans will all transform into monsters themselves. It's never explained why. The series ends with the status quo intact. Monsters continue to kill people. Mellos Warriors continue to kill monsters. The End.
Earth Maiden Arjuna
A show that can be boiled down to technology=bad, nature=good. It spends far too much time preaching to it's audience, instead of offering any real solutions, outside of natural farming. It also undermines it's own message in the last episode. A near end of the world event forces people out into nature, then instead of dealing with any of the actual consequences, gives them unlimited magic food and calls it a day.

Attack on Titan did it for me.
Unpopular opinion: I preferred the bittersweet aspect of FMA more than the peachy perfect ending of FMAB. FMA was always about the theme of exchange, i. e. it requires a great cost to achieve something of great value. But FMAB didn't give me that impression with how it ended. The cost didn't seem nearly high enough. FMA was a life for a life at the end, which seemed thematically more aligned.
Unpopular opinion #2: IBO ended just as it should have. Everyone dies, the villain wins and nothing matters is very realistic let's not kid ourselves. War doesn't accomplish anything for those on the battlefield, only for a select few that stand to benefit from it politically. It's not the preferred ending in my mind, not by a long shot, but it rings true given the themes and tone of the show.

Iron blood orphans arc v Tokyo ghoul and platinum end, yeah they can eat the fattest part of my ass. With those 4 I never had such high hopes for only for them to come crashing down, I'm talking straight nosedive to the earth. Future Diary, Panty and Stocking and Soul Eater I can take it or leave it tbh. Far from the best conclusions but not exactly the worse for me. Now Digimon adventure 2, that one I feel doesn't deserve to be on this list. I mean come on are really salty about certain main characters marrying who Everyone in the world having a Digimon I get, but come on people, let the heroes have their happy ending.

I know the ending wasn't most-hated, but I wish the final Ash and Pikachu episode could've included either of these:
1. Ash's father finally appears onscreen
2. Jessie, James, and Meowth quits Team Rocket and following Ash forever. And they redeemed themselves.
3. Ash reunites with his Primeape
4. All of Ash's traveling companions and Alola classmates appear at once for a surprise party for Ash. And interactions between them. I know May's voice actress retired, but I don't care if it was a new actress
5. Ash reunites with the recurring Latias and captures it.

We should be really happy with IBO since the original ending was a lot worst the dirctor Tatsuyuki Nagai. he literary wanted to kill off everyone in Tekkadan including Kudelia but writer Mari Okada and other staff said no, so they came at a compromise and that's the ending we got. With that said Mari Okada is no saint either, she had a habit of changing things if she didn't like them. For example Gaelio who was originally meant to be kill of for real in S1 and who was brought back in S2 was because Mari in her own words imbued Gaelio with a kindness.

Platinum’s End ending is easily resumed by Rick Sanchez: Nothing matters, your existence is a lie! Talk about cynicism to the extreme, I really hate the conclusion of this series, especially since all characters were chosen because they wanted to take their own lives. I hate how the protagonist simply accepts that and says this is for the best. It’s the kinda of ending that reinforces suicidal thoughts, nihilistic to the extreme, without caring for nothing but to put and end to it’s own self-pity!

Not a si gle mention of parisite the maxim. That show built up characters that had abilities which were never explained due to them being un expectedly killed off. Then the final showdown is with some random bad guy and the series ends with some kind of weird PSA to take care of the world and its environment. The parasites ultimately decide to exist in secrecy without having changed their ways, and it kind of seems like it was all for nothing. Everyone loved it, i hated it.

I had a feeling Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V was gonna be here. The show was fantastic and the duels were fun to watch, at least until after Zarc was defeated.
Not only is Yuya stuck with the spirits of his other three dimensional counterparts within him, Zuzu Boyle's dimensional counterparts remain dead.
There was also that whole 'make baby smile to purge Zarc's evil once and for all' thing.
That whole thing really brought the show crashing down. Yikes!

I was so pissed when they said they were gonna stop making promised never land seasons I was sooo upset, sure the second season was not true to the manga very well and was super rushed yes. But honestly for someone who just was watching the show and does not read manga often, I liked that anime so much the horror and the whole universe it was in. I hope someone picks it up or I hope it gets a better reboot cause its a god damn amazing anime on its own.

Ok, Yeah, I agree that Iron Blood Orphans Su-u-u-u-u-u-u-u-u-uks at the end. That's not the kind of Gundam end I would watch again. Huh, Aldnoah. Zero's ending is forgettable but the music Bretheless is a real banger. Yeah, Soul Eater's ending is du-u-u-u-u-umb. Didn't Medabots get a 3rd season Like a different robot vs robot, minus certain characters and Medabots basically becoming Transformers.

Oh come on I rather enjoyed the ending of Arc V the main things that I loved the most about the ending of Arc V was when Yuya and his dimensional counterparts simultaneously summons the Odd Eyes Hybrids if it wasn’t for the ending of Arc V we wouldn’t have gotten Odd Eyes Venom and Odd Eyes Wing Dragons so that’s what we as fans of yugioh should be thankful and grateful for.

Akame Ga Kill’s anime ending is really depressing, with almost everyone of the cast getting killed off. The manga’s ending is a bit better, since Tatsumi, Mine & Kurome are still alive by the end, but I still am bothered for the death from most members from Night Raid. I would’ve prefer a reboot series where the Nightraid members could have their happy ending.

Iron blood orphan ending is what made the story great, the protagonists been gambling with every move they made until they finally lost in the end. Last two pilots sacrificed themselves so the rest of the Tekkadan can escape. ultimately I'm really impressed that Sunrise was willing to kill the main characters.

I would add Kaze no Stigma to the list. Love, Election, and Chocolate was another one that had a dull ending. Others include A Centaur's Life (what was the purpose of the arm wrestling tournament amongst the female students, Blue Drop, Chrono Crusade, Trinity 7, Kampfer, Venus vs Virus, and Murder Princess.

From what I heard since Panty and Stocking is included on the list Studio Trigger 'the same company that gave us Kill La Kill Little Witch Academia and Cyberpunk Edgerunners' are working on a new season of the show, when it's gonna come out is anybodies guess.

I a part the anime ending for akame ga kill it fits on how dark the anime is on the other hand I cared more for tatsumi than akame I guess the bad reception made them change the ending for the anime because the anime was airing while the manga was being published

Make the list of the best endings
For Akame ga kill and Soul Eater reebots could do
Yugioh Arc V is my favorite series, but I reject the overly sped-up ending and the last duel is forced
You should have also put Yugioh Vrains

I personally thought that fma 2003 had a very solid ending, to be precise not the movie the series ending. the movie felt like a cash grab. this might be controversial but I personally prefer the 2003 ending over the brotherhood ending.
