Hugh Neutron at #15 makes me concerned. As I recall, when he took Jimmy and his friends camping he had no idea where he was going and decided to make camp in a spot they’ve been at multiple times. Luckily, Jimmy had brought his tech to make the trip more bearable only for Hugh to pull the plug and destroy the campsite because it ruined the spirit of camping, and then he has the nerve to blame his own son for what happened. In the end, he reveals that he was never good at camping or surviving in woods. In short, he’s an idiot that would blame others for his mistakes rather than take responsibility for his own actions. And don’t get me started on JACK FENTON.

Bob is such a good portrayal of a dad cuz it’s a bit more realistic. He doesn’t dote on his kids like they’re the greatest, he openly says how they’re odd and the worst’ at their jobs, but still loves them. This family is so comfortable taking gentle jabs at each other and it’s all good natured. Louise on a regular basis teases her dad, and he sarcastically responds. And she’s a daddy’s girl who favors Bob over Linda. He’s not good with words and Is a pretty awkward odd ball himself, but that makes him more endearing. They’re an odd ball family but they love each other, they just don’t always show it in the most obvious ways

It makes me sad that kids nowadays don’t know who Max is. There was one time when my Parents and I went to see the Disney Christmas Fantasy Parade and there was one kid who was with his mom and when Max and Goofy came down the route on a giant gingerbread house the kid asked who Max was. Since then Max hasn’t been in the parade.
On another note I’m surprised Sterling Archer wasn’t on the list.

I'm so glad Bob Blecher is such a good father. Bob Burgers came on around the time where adult cartoon fathers have devolved into either completely jerks or psychopaths (Homer, Peter, and Stan) but Bob was such a breath of fresh air as someone who doesn't abuse his children. His children are weird and he wants them to focus on the business, but Bob will never force them to do something they don't want to

It’s really amazing, and also heartwarming as well, how someone with an abusive and neglectful father like Doofenschmirtz could be a great father to his only daughter. Normally, most fathers with an abusive father would struggle with being decent fathers to their kid(s, but Doofenschmirtz is one of the few who managed to turn out to be a good father even with an abusive backstory.

Bob’s Burgers sucks donkey balls and is the Pearl Jam of fictional comedy tv shows. I don’t want a realistic wholesome family in comedy especially a family that represents supposedly wholesome families in the 2010’s and 2020’s.

I do have to disagree with having Ned Flanders on the list. In the earlier seasons, yes he is a great father. But after Maude died, he became overly insufferable, over protective and even more overly religious. It’s also clear that if he were given the choice choosing between religion or his kids, he’d chose religion.

Overall this is a near masterpiece! Especially because it consists of actual good fathers and not too many of the more famous bumbling idiots that most lists would give us. The only criticism I have is what were you thinking not including Beef Tobin of The Great North! You didn’t have honorable mentions

I actually lost a lot of respect for Greg universe. He never allowed his son to have a normal life. Steven never got to go to school, never got to make many friends, they were homeless, and in addition, didn’t allow Steven to even meet his grandparents.
