Heat was NOT a masterpiece. never was. The ending trashed the entire movie, bc the director and writers couldnt find a way to let the movie end with the bad guys outsmarting the good guys. So in the name of the dumbest scene created, after set-up to make the cleanest getaway in film history. For no reason Neil goes against everything his diabolocal character did the last two hours and does the dumbest thing ever seen. All bc Hollywood wanted to have Mr. Deniro and Mr. Pacino in the final scene yet lacked the creativity to do it right, imitating life theres no happy ending for the white American audience, thats Hollywood at its best.

M: I - F is not much different than any other in the whole Mission: Impossible series. And I doubt there is any special artistic value to any of those. They are good for what they are. Entertainment. Blockbuster movies. Nothing less. Nothing more, either.
And Mad Max: Fury Road is the last on the list! Are you joking
Wait! I forgot about The Dark Knight. That one is more than just entertainment. That one sure has some higher value. And if we regard Raiders Of The Lost Ark as an action movie, then Star Wars is also an action movie. So, The Dark Knight and Star Wars. WHERE ARE THEY I WANT THEM ALIVE!

Missing here is The Kingdom of Heaven Obviously any movie about the Third Crusade will be heavily fictionalized but the Sultan Saladin was the real deal. It didn't go over well with Christians as the wrong side won but the cast is great. The battle scenes are epic and show what a trebuchet can really do, heavy artillery built from trees over 1, 000 years ago. Don't bother with anything other than the directors cut. The mess in the middle east is nothing new, 2, 000 years of hatred and vengeance doesn't end with a simple hostage deal.

Die Hard is way too low. Should be at least be in the Top 3 imo. There's a reason the movie has become an adjective in the lexicon of cinema. Ex - is the Die Hard of this or that.

I am sorry but you really dropped the ball for not Including John Wick here. This is an action masterpiece. Huge reason for this is that the creative people were allowed to do their thing. People who understood what made a good action movie. From the gun fights, martial arts, vehicle chases, and even cinematography it was impeccable.

The only movies on this list that I enjoy are the following: Skyfall (James Bond Franchise, Enter the Dragon (All Bruce Lee Movies, Jackie Chan Movie, Indiana Jones Trilogy Series, Terminator, & T2: Judgment Day, The Matrix Trilogy, everything else not so much due to no interest in either watching them / owning on physical media.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000) was an absolute masterpiece of filmmaking!
