Cowboys from Hell was definitely a turning point for Pantera, but the album before that one, called Power Metal, is what really got them off of the glam metal track.
Actually, the fact that their 1st 4 albums were suck flops helped them out in the long run. No one even knew about them until after Vulgar Display of Power was released. There was no internet back then, so it was easier to keep a secret. By the time we all found out, it was too late and they had already cemented themselves as groove metal pioneers.

Brendan Fraser's initial career decline wasn't his fault, he never really fell out of favor but was unfairly blacklisted by a sleazy scumbag. In the early 2000s, he was already getting great dramatic parts in Gods and Monsters, The Quiet American and Crash until the blacklist happened. Nevertheless, I'm so glad to see him back stronger than ever and I continue to look forward to his next projects.

Jordan Peele could also go here. He went from a comedy actor and member of Key and Peele to writing and directing acclaimed horror films like Get Out, US, and NOPE. He even won an Oscar for writing Get Out, which says quite a lot considering the Academy’s seeming disdain for the horror genre.

Hugh Laurie was a huge british comedian. I loved watching stuff like A Bit of Fry and Laurie or Blackaddar. I don't think americans really knew who he was before House, and his american accent was so good I doubt most americans even knew he was british.

Brendan Fraser shouldnt be in this list, we all know why his career stopped and it had nothing to do with his movie choices or critics, its only because people gave him a chance again that he proved what a fantastic actor he is.

Not a Celebrity But After I Went From Genre Fare movies to more Prestige films like A History Of Violence, Road To Perdition, The Wrestler alongside films I hope to see like Spartan and Open Range

Seeing Bryan Cranston and Robert Downy Jr at the top of this list is agreeable. Both have came a long way: one that broken typecast and one from rehab and their acting skills is remarkable

He didn’t live long enough to see it happen but I believe John Candy could have successfully transitioned from a comedian into a serious drama actor. Watch JFK if you don’t believe me.

Chip Eston from Who's Line is a minor one in comparison but it was still jarring to find out he started using a grown up name and grew into a big country music artist.

Daft Punk taking an insult and using as their name brilliant, Leslie Nelson’s line surely u can’t be serious I quote all the time it’s absolute compact gold

Am i the only one who doesn't think every film needs a happy ending I actually prefer HCA's Little Mermaid for instance to the saccharine Disbey version.

Brendan Fraser has allways been a serious underrated actor in Hollywood since I first saw him ik how incredible of a actor he is
reply

Y’all are wrong for putting Fraser, I know y’all want views but putting him is weird, whoever put him needs to go to prison.
reply

0: 50 i’m not sure who Oli Skies is, but Oli Sykes is a pretty damn exceptional vocalist no matter what genre he’s doing
