McCarthy's hearings had nothing to do with hollywood, he went after communists in the military, civil service and government institutions.
It was a separate committee chaired by someone else that was specifically dedicated too investigating communist influence in entertainment and art (which we now know not only did exist but was funded directly by the kremlin via the american communist party.
But the way hollywood tells it mccarthy was basically lucifer in human flesh even though he didn't touch anything to do with them, but that's just the propaganda sipn they've been putting on it for the last 70 years.

I appreciate your outspokeness about the dangers of laissez faire economic methods, and of the mindless individualism that propelled the anti-health mobs to spread pandemics. Trusting self interest as the guiding force of a society has killed more people than the statist systems.

After watching this video, it's hard to deny the classic saying, Those who do not learn from the experience of history are doomed to repeat it, meaning, the study of history teaches vital lessons; however, those lessons are often unheeded. The Coronavirus is living proof of that.
