i’m from indianapolis, indiana and live near where the torture and murder of sylvia likens took place. gertrude was convicted and sentenced to life in prison. she was granted an appeal in 1970 after her original conviction was overturned. she was then again sentenced to life in prison in 1971 and only served another 15 years. she was paroled in 1985. when she took the stand she tried to act like what she was doing to Sylvia was for her own good. she had convinced herself that it was okay. she died in 1990 due to cancer ( couldn’t have happened to a better person. the house has since been demolished & a few miles down the road from where it happened there’s a memorial in sylvia’s honor at a park. all of this started because Gertrude’s daughter Paula had convinced Gertrude that sylvia was a trouble maker.
i hope sylvia is resting in peace.

06: 53; I've never got intimidated or edgy by any insane criminals or serial killers or any other and I've seen almost all kinds for years now, some times I can sense evil like in (Israel keyes) or insanity or cold blooded looks in so many others but the point is that girl's look freaks me out like no other, and I believe I have a brave heart and even fearless soul but Man, this is something else.

I’ve heard of at least a third of these (wasn’t keeping close track, but I’ve been into true crime for several years, so I guess that’s not bad, and at least this is a decently long list. Like most everyone else, I think BTK is out of place on this list, since he’s one of the more famous SKs out there. The toy box killer is one I might’ve swapped with BTK.

Katherine knight’s well known in the land of Australia. I’ve also heard of the Sylvia likens case, Issei Sarawak, Mary Bell, the Butcher Baker Hansen, the Sodder kids, BTK, heard of all of them too.
Also creepily, some photos of katherine knight look a LITTLE BIT like my mum’s photos from when she was young with the hair and glasses it’s creepy.

Dude, your list in ridiculous, even non true crime people know a lot of these, the voice is AI, or sounds it, and it's like, at the start you gave WatchMojo the benefit of the doubt because they produce so much content so if they got a few little things slightly wrong, it was like, ok, whatever, but these days it's just pure slop.

9: 26 I've heard of this guy this bastard made money off his crime (he made a book which is banned in Japan to this day) the Japanese Media made him a celebrity which is disgusting. His father was so ashamed that he refused to speak with him until the day he died and his mother committed suicide 3 weeks after her husband's death.

I feel bad for all the victims! Some of these people on this list looked so nice! It's a shame how they would do that to people. Why would the mother try to kill her own daughter! Her daughter wouldn't have been a killer if she didn't. Also, I would feel scared if a cannibal was walking on my streets.

Mary Bell infuriates me, she should have gotten more than a slap on the wrist. Like life without parole. Gertrude Baniszewski was not sufficiently punished nor were the other participants, even though they were run out of town, and died early. Gertrude should have gotten the D penalty.

First, I have heard of all of these cases which means I watch way too much true crime lol. However, this is such a terrible list as you included some highly notable cases that received extensive news coverage. You really think people have not heard of the Acid Bath murderer or BTK

I am confused, there's some of these are well known, and has been mentioned in other videos and portrayed in other media, like The BTK murderer, or England's youngest killer, or even the 5 missing kids. Just to name a few.
