-Alex, tell me this. My nephew is also into the 'no socks' or lower socks style. I get it from a fashion point of view, but when it's cold and freezing. I won't go sockless or roll my pants for the benefit of nude ankles. IMO practical over style will keep you warmer. Keep up the videos.
