the entire fashion industry is basically just set up to keep oscillating between things so that you need to buy more clothes every season and i cant believe people actually don't realise this and get all excited discussing the latest thing. why you think gucci or whoever does a show with guys in slim fit this year and then loose fit next year? and why do they spend tons of money to spread their image?
its just a popularity contest. if you get enough momentum behind something, everyone else will start to assume that its somehow better and they'll follow along with the herd to avoid standing out and people perhaps noticing them.
blegh. what men really want is to dress like a roman centurion, not spend preposterous amounts of money on ironic baggy trousers that look exactly like something a 90s sitcom character would wear

Baggy clothes will look the best on skinny people. Just dress for your body type. You dont want to look bigger than you already are if you have a little weight on you. Plus everybody does their own style these days. I've always done my own thing and stuck with brands that I like. My style has always been Nautica, Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, and Calvin Klein. I might even wear a heavy metal shirt sometimes like Iron Maiden, Alice in Chains, Metallica, etc. Just be yourself and dress for the occasion.

Every style influencer told guys to 'work out' so they would look great in their skinny jeans and fitted clothes. Now with baggy clothes you can just forget it. Nobody will see your hard work in baggy clothing. You'll look no better than guys who don't work out at all, unless they're like actually fat. Baggy, shapeless clothes just aren't stylish. Hope they go away soon! I'll probably go down the utility route. At least they can be quite 'fitted'.

Slim fit looks good on most especially if your built. if your younger you can pull off skinny jeans. If your going to do baggy, wear instead loose but fitted not extremely baggy. As for my hair I think I might go for the buzz cut

I always find it amazing how things can go out of fashion, and most people don't like the look of the clothing, then for some reason it comes back and everyone flips!

and just so we're clear. it ain't just baggy/wide pants that are in, it's also the t's, tanks, and shirts that should be oversized and loose fitting.

The 1990s isn't vintage lol. It's retro. Anything over 50 years ago is vintage and anything over 100 years is antique.
