It def helps if you-re good looking and fit when you have long hair as a man. You have to have very thick skin too unfortunately in America we still have gender role standards that if you don-t conform people will make assumptions about you and you have to be able to deal with that because that-s just the way it is. Having long hair for a man or woman is a lot of work if you want it to look good it can be easy if you just pull it up all the time but unfortunately not everybody looks good with a man bun on some people it-s look absolutely ridiculous. The best thing to do is just let it grow and do not cut it until it gets a longer length then trim it otherwise its going to seem like it takes forever to grow out. Everybody is going to have to go through what they perceive as an -awkward stage- most men do not do enough to their hair for it to have major split ends like women do so getting it trimmed to frequently during the grow out process is a little bit counterproductive.

I decided to grow my hair, my last haircut was on May 1, 2021. It was around 3 Inches that time. Now its June 12 2021 its now 4 inches. My hair growth rate is probably 3/4 or 1 inch a month. let's see how long would it get next year. If it fits me, then i'll keep it, but if not i might cut it. I just want to do the man bun and eren hairstyle lol.

I was growing out my hair too the last 6 months but cut it off last week. I regret it sooo much! I had never grown out my hair and it's only after I cut it last week that I realised I look better with longer hair! Will be starting my hair growth journey again: )

Tis the year to grow, bro. The super short pineapple fades are starting to look tired and uninspired. Bring back that Lost Boys Jim Morrison look- anything but a cookie cutter razor cut. Soon most barber's will have to learn how to cut, not just fade.

Alex your hair already changed, your hair line went back and so many guys (including me) has a problem about if it is a sign of balding/thinning or widows peak. Dont worry yours seem normal, hope no one will have balding or thinning.

I grew my hair to about 8 or 9 inches I haven-t checked for about a month I dunno
And the thing about my hair is it grows about 1-2 inches every month and the last -bad and terrible- complete hair shave was about 6 months ago

I'm now able to put it in a bun the only problem is should I cut the sides and the back or let the back and sides grow like the top because when it's in a bun it looks funny right now on the back and the sides.

Yeah im growing it out too, the problem is that i have rlly fine and blond hair so im afraid ending up looking quite fenamin. but as u say I cant know until I grow it out. Thanks!
