Take a look back at the last hundred years of lipstick, from the 1920s vamp lipstick and the 1930s rosebud mouth, to the bright red lips of the 1950s and the pale, frosted shades of the 1960s, here's the last century of lipstick.

As an Asian boy in high school our school allows girls and boys alike to wear makeup (as long as its not too heavy or gains attention) and for lips I usually put a dark shade of red inside the center (like nearly going inside of my lip, I hope it makes sense) and fade it out, its pretty cute actually. And yes, Im not straight, wow unexpected.

Oh come on. Kylie Jenner was no where near the first company to make matte lipstick. She isn't even the one who first made it popular. She made her SHADES popular, not the formula. The credit would most likely go to Kat Von D. back when she wasn't so crazy.

Whomever applied the first two should be fired, absolutely horrible. And please stop trying to make lips look Fuller by drawing outside of the natural lip line. No one is being fooled and in many cases it looks ridiculous.

It should be noted that during the early 20th century, lipstick and dark eye shadow were mainly used on actors for film so that their eyes and lips would clearly show. Makeup outside of film was very minimal back then.

Am I the only one who remembers pretty much every teenage girl covering their lips with concealer in the 00s? (The lipgloss trend is very true though and lots of girls would put gloss on top of their concealer lips too)

How about the blur lipstick? The famous korean lipstick application style which was named Gradient Lips look that was eventually now adapted by the West and named it Blur Lipstick/Blurred Lipstick

Base on my childhood watching cartoon network with emos. Aren't their lips supposed to be dark? Like they all love black because they claim that it resembles their life.

is it only me or does anyone else absolutely hate the girl with orange hair blue eyes and thin lips. THE WAY SHE PRETENDED TO BE A FLIGHT ATTENDANT REALLY ANNOYED ME

Can we appreciate that they don't use people with fake, silicon lips as the models I'm so so satisfied that all of them blessed with natural beauty

Lipstick is applied by a professional, right? Then why the outlines mostly looks uneven? It's like make-up artist was down with hungover, or something.
