Although I am not vegan (my body has a bad reaction to it, but I want to help the planet, I try to eat as responsible as possible. I order directly from local farmers in my area who are 100% transparent in their practice. It's a website called Crowd Cow. It's more expensive but worth it to my husband and I. You also know what families your money is going to. Plus we no longer have to visit grocery stores which are just full of bad habits. My entire family uses thrive and it's AMAZING. Also, depending on where you live there is this company called Imperfect Produce. They are a company that delivers 'ugly' but totally edible veggies and fruits to your door that are turned away from grocery chains because they don't 'look good'. They are helping to stop food waste in my country (USA) They are a very small operation but are rapidly growing Plus because the food is being turned away for looking ugly, they sell it to you for a cheaper price. They also have organic options and let you know where the food is coming from

At least you can still choose a special meal on a Lufthansa flight - as a flightattendant I fight for this alternative; ) But I will give feedback to my company. Promise; )But by the way: next time come to Austria, like Innsbruck. I show you around. you can eat very healthy, vegan etc. - and for sure its a lot cheaper than in Switzerland; )And here some advices when Im travelling as a flight attendant: 1. I really love to prepare fresh hummus or sometimes I buy it and eat vegetable sticks with it (like carrots, cucumbers, paprika etc. 2. I like to bake fresh bread. It lasts for a long trip. 3. I cook a salad of pasta or rice with vegetables, nuts etc. There are some ideas in my Insta-account if you like to see those: m. i. s. s. i. o. n. youLove your videos Keep on going

Seriously, I love your humor, which you sneak in here and there. It makes me laugh, and things don't have to be so serious all the time. I also love how authentic you seem during this video; it's actually something I have noticed I feel from you more and more during the last 6 months or so. Sharing reality and your little quirks. I also love your comment on the fish in the tank. I think and feel the same way everytime I see it, and it makes me sad - they are trapped and it's just not okay. Thank you for all of the advices and great yogavideos. I use them almost daily with my bf and have been for a long time now. I appreciate your sharings, and hope you had a great trip. Hugs DK

Finally a question about Thrive. you said they deliver straight to your door. what type of transportation do they use? Is it more environmentally friendly than other forms of shopping? Sometimes i get confused by your standpoint on these things as you seem anti-animal consumption (e. g. veganism, fauxdown etc) but pro-fossil fuel consumerism (e. g. long haul flights, waste of products that don't meet your standards, individually plastic wrapped protein bars. Let us know what you think, I love to hear your ideas long haul flights, and energy and transport used in what you consume.

i always brings fresh fruit and veggies with me on flights. the freshness makes my mind and body feel better. carrots, celery & apples are go to. i also LOVE yogi ginger tea. i bring vega electrolyte packets. when traveling overseas, i bring a couple of individual protein packets on the plane with me - mix it up with some water - like you're concocting a potion. and even though it takes up a lot of space in my suitcase, i bring a tub of protein powder with me. my go to is vega protein & greens. nom nom and namaste. safe travels

BohoBeautiful, you seem to be very focussed on taste. Maybe the food on the plane wasn't up to standards of 'flavour' but from the point of view of reducing consumerism (and therefore the resources spent on production) wouldn't it be better to eat the plane meal regardless of it's taste. It had already been prepared and would provide you with energy, meaning you might not have to buy something extra later. Also as mentioned later on with the energy bars - do you prioritse flavour over reducing plastic consumption?

Hellooooo I absolutely love you two. I've been following your page since 2016. At one point I was doing your yoga videos 2/3 times a day. You get me into my best shape Not to mention how convenient & reliable it is doing it all from home. You have motivated me a tremendous amount. Just wanted to say THANK YOU P. S. Have you thought about sharing some new vlogging/editing tips? I love how you two film multiple videos throughout your day. What's your planning/brainstorming process like? xx Kaci

Can I be completely honest? They don't look well. They look malnourished. Their skin is sallow. I'm a registered nurse so no backlash please. I admire their discipline and sticking to their beliefs but if you deprive yourself too much it really shows as the skin is the largest organ in the body. Winter is a time to hibernate and nourish the body with good, rich, hearty foods. Also ziplock bags are made of plastic and they have served them well for travelling. So no hate on plastic if used wisely.

What is your experience in being in countries where you have to be careful about drinking the water and eating produce that may have been washed in the water? I'm living in Mexico right now and am finding it difficult to eat healthy since raw fruits/veggies are questionable. I have been washing my fruits and veggies in a solution, but even so, you can't control how they wash/prepare food at restaurants, even if the restaurants themselves serve healthy options. Suggestions?

I always bring my own food on the plane as its possible, I never had problems with security control or something like this Also prepared wraps are great, for example with Beans, vegetables&Avocado Also a bean/onion salad with vegetables or a quinoa/chickpeas salad is great- it dont gets weak with the fluid, also tasty to eat even a few hours laterIts unusual seeing you with winter clothes xD Love your work, keep going
