Hey Brad. I started noticing clear hair when I was 20 yrs old, now I am 34 and have 1/2 head full of clear hair. I have tried many different hairstylists, non which ever accomplished a hair color I was satisfied with. For this reason I am now trying to transition. I am tired of spending so much money, and not getting the results I want. I will also like to add that my hair is currently colored a reddish brown, and I have curly hair type C. What do you recommend for my transitioning journey? Also, any recommendations on a great hair colorist in Jersey? Thanks

I'm 63, naturally auburn and about 50% gray. My auburn has largely faded to brown. I have been using a single process medium auburn color for many years.
I want to let my gray grow, but I would like my remaining colorful hair to be redder.
Here's my question: What would happen if I used color with a volume 10 developer? Since volume 10 does not cover grays, would it add red to my colorful hair and leave the gray as it is? I realize that this will not lighten my colorful hair and that it would wash out more quickly than permanent color.

Now I have silver strands and roots and the vestiges of the highlights at the very ends of my waist length hair and I love it and get positive comments and compliments on it. I cant wait for it to all turn silver/white like my Dads did as thats the way it looks to be going. I am SO ready to go from blonde bombshell to silver vixen.

brad I letting you know Proverbs 16: 31 Gray hair is a crown of glory; it is obtained by following a righteous path. You might should do a video telling people HOW TO GET GREY HAIR. (I myself have snow white hair all along my hairline. of course I dye it it makes me look my real age) But turns out your supposed to want to get all wrinkly and gross and have tons of white hair so that you look extra saintly.

I started to go gray around 22 and I am ashamed to say that my dumb ass was PLUCKING the gray hairs out individually for like 2 years and then started dyeing it over and over to keep up with the stripe. I don't have the patience to wait for it to grow out for years and be two toned in the meantime or to shave my gigantic round bowling ball of a head either so now I just have no clue.

The vitamins thing is real, cuz my sister is 8 years older than me and hasnt had a single grey. Shes a very stressed out person too. Shes been popping vitamins since 2004. And I never took vitamins till now and have my first dozen grey (clear) strands. B-12++++ way more vitamins is real. The millions of time we all made fun of her for being so health conscious, has paid off for her.

My dads 66 and not even 50% gray. My moms just a few years younger and has had graying hair since 40ish I think? I can hope all I want that Ill take after my dad but with my luck Ill take after my mom bc I always get the traits I DONT want from them while never getting the ones I do want. Then again, my moms a lot more stressed than my dad so I know its not all down to genetics.

Am in a period of confusion. Hairstylist says I'm 75% gray. Hair looks like the gal 15: 50. Wouldn't mind the after look right now. I'm guessing if applying lightener for highlights/bayalage first time it would not go to near a blonde or silver. Wind up with damaged hair and an unappealing color/look. Btw: Brad, you are hysterical. And the video is highly informative.

I've got a streak of white, with white peppered sparsely through the rest of my dark brown hair. The white hairs are pretty pure white, not yellow. What would it look like to just dye it purple or burgundy. would the color mostly show on the white hair eith the brown mostly staying the same? Would it take well on the whites, or end up a faint, pastel color?

I can remember my mom taking care of a friend of the family who hurt it hand. We stayed there for about a week. She couldn't brush her hair before she went to bed. I remember seeing her hair down for the first time, she always wore it in a bun. It was pure white and damn near down to her knees. I have wanted hair like that ever since.

I have a question. I have fine natural dark brown hair, I have grey strands here and there. I did get a balayage before coved hit. During that summer my hair looked see-through and very ugly. I also can not stand blond and Im trying to cover the balayage as well as my grey. What product, developer and toner do you recommend?

How do you keep gray hair from looking thin in sunlight? Dark ash low lights? It's thick and lush but sense its clear in bright light it looks thin. Especially when your only 40 and it's a full head of gray that's been growing out for over a year and it's down to my chin I'm not going to color it fully anymore.

Highlights do nothing I have had them and the Grey's still stand out I've tried a bleach out and still I can see them I will never go back to dark hair the way my Grey's only grow in the sides looks hideous I am so embarrassed by in public Nothing works The only solution I have is shave it all off and just wear wigs

My mom (who is a redhead that's turning 50 this December) colours her hair to keep away the little greys but her dad and mom passed away within 4 months of each other and a huge chunk of her bangs went grey to the point that she stopped colouring that chunk because her roots would show so so soon.
