I have a haircut very similar to this and this is what I discovered curling my hair: 1) Don't touch the curls as they come off the iron unless your curling them back up for hold. If you touch them too much as they're cooling they will quickly fall. 2) Once all the curls are cool, finger comb them out to your desired volume/texture. Combing up from underneath gives more volume and neater curls on top, while combing down from your part gives you smoother waves.

I love that you are doing hairstyles for short hair I have been adapting your hair styles to my short hair for the last year. I found out that if you keep any braided hairstyles close to the nap of your neck it works best, cause the short bottom hair stays put. Also adding dry shampoo to keep the short hairs from falling out of braids and other updos has worked really well for me.

I love that you are doing hairstyles for short hair I have been adapting your hair styles to my short hair for the last year. Kayley, can you please do a whole series on hairstyles to do with short hair? A lot of the styles you do I'd love to try but can't because my hair is shorter and there's very limited things you can really do with short hair but I'm hoping you'd be able to think of some things. :)
