I am just doing the same thing as bunny (graveyardgirl) did, and just leaving my hair (which means no colouring it, no heat to it, and no person cutting my hair unless it is me to sort out my layers every so often) until I get to the length that I want, I started it around Christmas last year and gotten so much length already, like before it was just above were my genie bra back starts and now it has just surpassed the bra (so at least 10 cms. Now you said that the front of the hair is the place that get split ends, but for me, the hair that you section off at the nape of the neck before you put in your first hair extension in, is the hair that seems to forever have split ends, so I leave them for a while before I do the little snip because it just seems to encourage it somehow.

Could you do some tips on hair loss? What to do and not to do and what to use and not use? Also if you could do any tips on different types of hair and what shampoo to use? I have very fine hair and it's often quite limp also it gets dry when i use shampoo for greasy hair but when i use one for dry hair. Also what to do when your hair is getting very frizzy and stuffYou could do more tips on each topic like on the spot quick solution, prevention etc

I'm a hairstylist and I definitely agree with this. I trim up my split ends like this every so often and i can go months before i need a haircut to reshape my layers. which is just what i did like a week and a half ago. and because ive been doing this for awhile my hair has grown past the length at which it used to stop growing at. it used to not grow past the top of my bra strap and now its 4 inches from the top of my backside.

Hey, I love your videos Can you do one on how to prevent breakage? I have really thick, long, frizzy hair and when I brush it, it often breaks and I loose a ton of hair in my brush everyday I have a ton of small wispy hairs at the top of my head. I do douse my hair in coconut oil every once in a while but, is there anything else you'd recommend (short of shaving my head and regrowing it all) Thanks

Could you do a video on eyebrows? A few months ago I went a little overboard with plucking, and I'm trying to grow my eyebrows back. I'd like some advice on properly shaping them when the time comes. Also, I have terrible eye sight, so I have to lean into the mirror like 4 inches away and I know that is one reason why I over plucked to being with. If you could help, that would be great

I used to have really bad split ends and what I managed to do in between hair cuts: 1. use repair and protect shampoo and conditioner it really helps2 blast your hair with cold water3. after the shower use a syrm4. brush your hair every morning and night and put your hair up 5. don't put heat on your hair every day because it damages your hair6. get it cut when they get really bad

OH MAN I just got back from a terrible haircut situation where my hairstylist kept trying to convince me to cut a billion inches off my hair because I have that split end situation happening all over the length of my hair, I'm SO GLAD you made this video, now I can try tackling those lil suckers myself without getting rid of 99% of my hair

I had a really horrible habit of taking the split ends on either side and pulling them up. Sooo bad. Nervous habit formed while sitting in class in HS. Rather than nail biting, i'd pull split ends apart. Thankfully, I broke that habit a long time ago. And I trim my own hair at home between cuts.

I don't like twisting my hair as it is so much you miss from doing that. Instead I take really small sections, and inspect them from as close I can see, and cut split ends, hair that have split further up, or it has gotten a bend. It takes time, but it works better than twisting your hair.

Self microtrim works at home very well. I can't tell about the trim (usually more than 10 cm or 2 inches) because I am still growing out my hair. Long hair community really can help anyone from the very newbie to the most experienced who still finds something interesting to learn.
