It's time for those 2018 Resolutions Here are some ways to start growing longer stronger hair in the new year Dajana Darling: haha I liked all your rhymes in this (How to take care of your hair. Be a queen in 2018): D My tip is to not over-treat or use too many products on your hair. I don't wash my hair more than 2-3 times a week and only use dry shampoo in between (Batiste is the best. Apart from that I use conditioner once a week and only blow dry my hair 80-90% dry. For one, cause I'm too lazy to stand there forever and dry it and two) cause it's less damaging. A lot of the tips you mentioned are a no-brainer to me and I've been doing them for years, so I agree- they really help I detangle my hair before I wash it. I don't rub on it, but wrap it in a microfibre towel while I'm drying the rest of my body. And before I blow dry it, I only smooth my hair with a pig bristles brush (which is also great to use when the hair is dry to distribute the oil from the hair throughout the hair and make it look shiny, without touching your scalp too much and making it produce even more oil. Lastly I wear my hair in a loose braid at night to keep it from tangling too much/ preventing breakage. But I guess, it's also helpful that I'm too lazy to use curling wands on a regular basis: 'D I really think heat is one of the most damaging factors when you want to let your hair grow. However, I really like your last tip about wearing your hair like a crown. My mom often says that I have really nice hair, but nobody can see it, because I don't make an effort to show it off. Usually, I just wear it in different kinds of braids. Which, yeah, is nice and sometimes I get compliments for that, but I really struggle with wearing my hair open, cause it annoys me quickly. Your video inspired me to make the resolution to make more of an effort with how I/ my hair looks and to wear more half-up hairstyles. In general, I did not make a lot of resolutions yet. I want to take more time for myself to prevent myself from feeling overwhelmed or stressed out. I want to work out and do things just for fun more. Like crocheting, water colouring, sewing. I got back into those things within the last couple of years, but I want to take more time to actually do them more, cause it brings me joy to do something with my hands instead of just sitting in front of a screen all day or wasting time on social media. Anyway, sorry for my long comment. I wish you all the best for 2018 Best regards from Berlin, Germany

Don't take multi vitamins if you're not deficient. There is such a thing as overdosing on vitamins when it comes to some of them that you don't just pee out the excess of. And that can make you sick, sometimes really really sick. And they can make other medications lose effect. Like if your multi vitamin contains iron, it will make some antibiotics function less, some vitamin combinations can affect epilepsy medications in a not so great way. Go to the doc and get a broad spectrum blood sample and only take the vitamins you lack, because they will know how each will affect you and/or the medications you're already on. (If you don't lack them, you won't see much of a difference if you take them anyway. )My hair resolution this year is to stop bleaching it. It's starting to look like it might fall out just by someone looking at it. lol

I totally agree about the moisture. What I use is actually aloe vera. I get it in the 100% form which is a bit runnier than the normal stuff. The one I get comes is a spray bottle so I can just spritz it on my hair whenever I need to. I use this stuff as a leave-in conditioner, defrizzer, and as a way to revive my recently discovered curly hair. I add in a bit of rosemary essential oil to amp up the benefits to my hair even more. What even better, I can also spritz this stuff all over my face as well. Double win. As for my resolutions. Mine is just to try and love myself more. I suffer from super low self esteem and social anxiety. My goal this year is working on trying to improve that a bit and to stop believing the lies we tell ourselves. But why is it so much easier to focus on all the negative and just ignore the positives?

One of the best things I ever did for my hair was washing it less often. It takes a little time to balance out, but, trust me, it is so much better for your hair. I know people worry about hair getting oily, but that's only because your body has become accustomed to your wash cycle and generates extra oil to counterbalance the oils that are stripped away with each washing. Eventually the body will get used to the less washings and will actually produce less oils. My hair has never been thicker or longer than it is now. I really recommend it. Some people go a very long time between washings, I go 5-7 days, but it really has improved my hair and scalp.

I guess it all comes down to genetics as well. I'm doing nothing on this list besides the scalp massage during my shampooing but only because I feel like that way I get rid of dead skin better. I was my hair twice a week and sometimes ) I use conditioner. Just because I don't always have time for that as a young mom. And my hair grows like crazy. I have cut my hair in a lob during pregnancy and had a heck of a lot postpartum hair loss. It only started to grow back 8 month postpartum. Exactly one year later now my hair goes down to my waist. oh and I barely ever use heat on it. Let it airdry most if the time.

Hey Kayley Great video I'm here with you form begining: ) form my side I could add some tips, as here in Poland we have large group of girls called hairholic or hairmaniac: ) my absolutely must do is oiling my hair before washing. I like to leave it on hair for 2-3 hours or whole night. It's blessing for my curly /wavy hair Also I would say that with curly hair you supposed to brush wet hair as I can't imagine to brush them while they are dry SOOO much volume: pHappy New Year: )

My New Years resolution is continuing to cleanse myself of negativity and things that steal my happiness. 2017 made me learn that sometimes the best option is just to let go, forgive, and move on. And since Ive let go of some negative relationships and things in my life that made me feel bad about myself, I feel empowered. Im surrounded my positivity, wholesome relationships, and am continuing my goals headstrong. And I want to continue that feeling in 2018.

Hair resolution. Wear styled hair at least twice a week. Thanks to your videos I can now braid my own hair. Although I struggle with a French braid but love a Dutch braid - especially a double Dutch braid. When I wear my hair in a double Dutch I feel like I'm winning at life. I took some. Of your tips for christmas hair and wore tinsel and baubles in it. and loved it so much. I got. soamy compliments. Loving. My hair right now. Thank you and happy. new year.

You are adorable I will look for the Living Proof products you mentioned. My hair needs some extra tender care. I have a few resolutions, I don't pick hard ones. I save those for later in the year. However, one that I want to focus on is being kind to myself. I don't treat anyone as harsh as I do myself. I'd have no friends if I treated them the way I treat myself. So, I'm going to be more forgiving, more loving, kinder and loving to myself.

Im a bit shocked that you dont talk about heat and hair dye since that it the two most damaging things we can do to our hair? It doesnt matter if you brush your hair wet if you use heat on it everyday of color it every 6 weeks? Minimize the usage of heat tools and stop coloring your hair so much - thats the tips that will actually work if you want long hair and then you can use these extra tips to maintain.
