Finally A chic diy hair storage solution I hope you love these variations on trays to store your items and protect your counters Karen Haddock: What a great idea My daughter had a chinchilla that died a couple years ago and we bought her a marble tile for her to stay cool during the summer months. My daughter didnt want to throw out the tile and Im glad we didnt. I cant wait to share this idea w/her. Shes almost 21 and lives on her own and Im sure shed enjoy seeing this beautiful tray in remembrance of Nova Thanks again Merry Christmas

I made this I wanted the handles to be more than decorative so I drilled holes through the tile and attached the handles with the provided screws then added small rubber feet to the underside of the tile to 1. not have the tops of the screws scratch the counter top and 2. make sure the tile didn't slide around on a possibly wet surface. It looks great in black granite too.

I use the jars from Bath and Body Works candles to hold my hair ties, headbands, bobby pins, makeup brushes. Pretty much my entire life. I used to have mostly clear ones, but as they've come out with some really pretty ones, I've slowly but surely started switching them out. (I even bought some scents I don't care for so that I can have a matching set of jars)

I've used a paper towel holder for scrunchies and hair ties. works awesome. Recently I got an over the door thing with 6 thin metal hooks. It works great for the thinner hair ties and fabric head bands. My cat loves to bat my hair doo dads around the bare floor at night lol so I had to out smart him. Hahahaha. Happy holidays

This is super cute. :)Heres a problem I always have with my hair and makeup set up: how do you avoid getting hairspray all over the wall and random hair and eyeshadow all over the counter and floor? Or what is the easiest and quickest way to clean up all this fallout everyday?

Such a great idea that I would have never thought of. Im in the process of getting a new vanity and reorganizing my makeup and hair tools and Im so glad you posted this video at the time you did

That is so smart I thought you were gonna tell us to go out and pay 30 bucks for a stone cutting board. It never would have occurred to me to just buy a marble tile.

I already had a version on this, but I bought an actual tray at a garage sale and used empty candle jars for storage. Definitely a more cost effective option.
