Here are my secret sauce waves, aka my loose tousled waves hair tutorial. These are my go to on short or long hair and they're great for everyday Casey Frank: Ok so this might sound so tacky but I almost cried when you popped up in my recommended I LOVED your videos, learned them, memorized and improvised. I have multi-cultural curls but watching your videos made me feel like I could still do it even if my hair texture was different. Used your updo for my senior prom hair back in 2012, AND my sister's prom hair in 2013, AND my sister-in-laws wedding years later 2018. but I couldn't remember your username and couldn't find you. I feel like i've been reunited with an old friend, i'm so happy. TT

Hey, do you have any suggestions on having to make curls and waves stay? I have tried different hairsprays and let the curls cool pinning them up and use highest heat settings and still my curls stay for max 1 h and then its straight-with-weird-bumps hairstyle. :D I have naturally a not straight and not wavy hair. like they do what they want. Some parts have waves, some are straight. If I straighten them, they stay like that for days and no problem, but I want to have curls too. :(

That herbal essences product, do you or anyone reading this know if it used to come in an airless pump? I used to use something by herbal essences and it was a curl cream but it wasn't exactly a gel either and I can't find it anywhere, it was my holy grail hair product. I can't find anything remotely close, I've picked up the one you used in this video but I always put it back because it's not the same color or texture as the one I had before.

Hey kayley I was just wondering if you had any product recommendations for for holding curls? My hair is super thick and every time I curl it, the curls almost immediately fall out and it looks like I haven't even done anything to my hair, so I was hoping you could give me some tips for keeping the curls because I've tried so many different hair sprays Thanks so much: )

I've been trying to figure out how these waves were called and finding tutorials about the look since yesterday, and earlier today I was telling my brother that I missed you so much. Then I decide to check if there are any new videos and oh surprise I feel so lucky today. Nothing better than a Kayley Melissa tutorial: D So glad to see you're doing good.

This is what I dont get, my hair is naturally wavy (long and loose) and if I braid my hair it holds a tighter wave for at least a day but when I try to curl it with a curling iron or by drying wet hair it doesnt hold its shape at all and falls out super quick. Similar issue with straightening, unless a hairdresser spends over an hour doing it.

Ugh my hair curls too easily for this technique but I create a similar result by using a flat iron on a very low setting, avoiding to curl the very ends, if a piece of hair is too tight i'll straighten it a little bit, I set with some hairspray and then I brush or shake the hair out. Works best on clean hair.

Im not trying to be mean and I love your videos but I just thought about it I think its kind of funny how hairstylist knows so much about hair health yet they still use these terrible products and heat on the hair almost every day once again I love your videos I just thought it was kind of ironic

I tried this, full of hope as seemed rather easy. One side of my hair wasnt too bad with some badly shaped waves. The other side turned out curly (with some misshapen curls) and Im not sure what Ive done wrong: ( thought Ill do this for a wedding but Ill just end up looking like a gormo.

Great video, I love your curls, I just wanna ask, do you straighten or blow out your hair before you curl them because they look like it. My hair is pretty straight naturaly but because they are bleached the ends are pretty weird when i try to curl them. Should I straighten them first?
