(There is a 90% chance that my background will be different [as in not the same color as me] next week. I appreciate your patience with my pasty white self; ). Product recommendations High end and low end: Pre Beach/pool conditioner: -Fekkai Glossing Leave in Conditioner (I mentioned it because I love it and I think it's the only oil based leave in conditioner I use regularly. -Coconut Oil (cheap and effective, but it will weigh down fine hair) Deep Conditioner: -Macadamia Oil Deep Repair Masque -L'Oreal Total Repair 5 Damage Erasing Balm UVA/UBV Protecting Conditioner: -Biolage Color Care Shine Shake -L'Oreal Color Vibrancy Dual Protect Spray

Hi Kayley, thank you so much for your tips, they are super helpful Just one concern, this method is great for going into pools but I know a lot of girls who do this when going into the ocean and that's so terrible for marine life. Do you have any other method for protecting hair when going to the beach and swimming in ocean water? Would you maybe be intersted in putting out out a PSA post about how swimming with conditioner and oil coating the hair when going into the ocean is harmful for marine life? There are many reasons but the biggest one is because conditioner and oil we use is not normally found in the oceans and it can cause animals to choke and can also cause reactions with coral reefs and other types of marine life (I would be more then happy to discuss this further if you want. Because you are such a huge hair inspiration, it would reach so many girls and maybe help save our oceans: ) Thank you

Hey Kaley I've been watching your videos since forever ago & I love them. I usually don't comment on videos in general, but I always love your advise. That said I have a question. I have long, fine, & straight hair. I know it's not really good for your hair to wash it every day & usually I wash every other day. Lately I've been working out more (almost everyday) & I do break a sweat, thus showering everyday. I don't want to not shower from sweat but I don't want to hurt my hair. Any advise?

One thing I have noticed that helps a lot (especially with preventing split ends and breakage) is to apply coconut oil to the lower half of your hair at night. The night before I am to wash my hair in the morning, I apply about 2 tsps all over the ends of my hair (or more depending on your hair type) and then sleep with it in a bun. The next morning it washes right out but you have been moisturizing all night Just make sure not to put too much in or apply on your scalp. I hope this helps

I feel like your videos are really lacking lately. And I don't want to be a hater that's why I wanna explain you why: I used to love that you made those TV-Show themed series looking at all of their hairstyles. Also I follow you on twitter and you said you wanted to do several tutorial on many hair do's from The Voice. never happened. I know you said you didn't like the videos you put up when you had that schedule but I liked all these videos more than the ones you've put up w/o a schedule.

nothing is working for my hair It's dry and brittle probably because I walk about 40 mins every day to work so I'm assuming the sun could be causing this but I only use hot tools on my hair once every other week, I don't wash it every day, I deep condition it with a coconut mask at least twice a week, I put leave in conditioner and serum in and it's still the same I'd get a trim but I don't have the money and I've tried doing it myself and still dry help: (

This is exactly what I needed Love all the great advice you always give in your videos & feel like I can always really trust your recommendations for products to use. I know other people have already said this but please do a tutorial for the braid you have in I am going on holiday next week & this would be ideal holiday hairstyle Also love the sort of winding dutch braid you show in the video. Thanks again for all the hair-spiration x

Hey LoviesThank you so much for reading this. I'm new to YouTube and have just started making videos: ) It's really hard to get noticed around here, and I know everyone hates these sorts of comments. But I work hard to upload regularly and would appreciate it if you could please come by and say hi? It would make my day If you don't want to, please just ignore this. Carina xx

I received a free sample of the fekkai shampoo and deep conditioner once and I absolutely loved it My hair felt so nice after using it. I just wish that brand wasn't so expensive, because I can't justify spending 20 for a shampoo and another 20 for the conditioner. I also have the fekkai glossing cream, because it came in the target box and I love that product as well

Kaylee I've watched you for a long time, and I have loved your videos, but I have one request. Could you maybe refrain from apologizing for your appearance? Seriously, you are gorgeous, and I genuinely want you to be confident. But it might send the wrong messages to other people who might think they need to apologize about their appearance too.

The idea with the white board was good, but I was focussing on what you were writing and therefore didn't really hear what you were saying at the same time. also I really don't think that some of that advice was breaking news (deep conditioner etc)If everyone else still loves your videos, great for you. Maybe it's just me then.
