Thank you sooo much for this video I know it always seems like it's supposed to be common knowledge to know how to pin your hair, but tutorials never actually show you how to properly use bobby pins to hold thick hair in place. Because of this, my hair always felt insecure when I tried pinning it. I kind of had to learn by trial and error, but thanks to your video I can actually get my hair to stay in place Please make more videos like this

If I make a braid like halfway through the video, I already have more hair than a single bobby pin can hold, so there isn't really an option to go scrape my head as well. How to deal with that? :-( Also, my hair is quite smooth/slick ) and will slide out of anything that is trying to hold it in place. I don't want to put too much product in it because I don't wash it that often. Any tips on how to deal with that?

I have very thin hair. Whenever I want to pin a braid or a twist like you do in the video, I like to hide the end under my hair. But then it has so little to grasp on to that is slips away during the day and I have to pull it in place multiple times. I have tried spraying hairspray on the bobby pins but it didn't really work so well. I would love some tips on this for your next bobby pin video: )

Loved this tutorial I would love to see more on securing buns with bobby pins and such. I've always had a hard time putting buns in my hair. even the simplest kind. I have very thick hair (and it's quite long) and when I do finally succeed in putting up a bun, it doesn't feel very secure and it feels like I have 10 pounds on my head.

Yes I would like more bobby pin hair tips for my 7 yr. old daughter with very long medium weight hair. I have resorted to a pony tail, chopstick and hair pins. How can I achieve a normal bun (messy is best) with hair pins and/or bobby pins without it falling out in 2 minutes? HELP

This videos was fantastic. I loved how you showed how to pin them in your hair. That is the part I always struggled with. And the jumbo Bobby pin is a good idea for my long thick hair. Thanks for being my go to hair tutorial youtuber

Tight buns for long/medium length THICK hair please. Pins either loosen or pop out or not stay and it's annoying, especially when you need everything clean and kept for shows. And just in general, how to securly tie it and/or pin it.

My hair is just barely past my shoulders, and I wanted to do something different with it, like doing a 2-strand braid and pinning it against my head, but I've never used bobby pins myself before, and this was very helpful.

Thanks for the video: ) For some updos I also find it helpful to hairspray the bobby pins before using them, to add a bit more grip. Especially when my hair is freshly washed (because I'm going out) and very slippery.
