Acrylic Nails Re-Design - Part 2: Flat Bubble Flower Technique

I am going to continue with Andreas redesign and I want to do something I've never tried before so this could go horribly wrong. I love the bubble rose technique, but I find that it's very limiting art wise but I love the depth it gives, they are also not very wearable for most people. So what I want to do is do a flatter version of it to make a bigger art surface and retain some of the depth. First I'm gonna paint Andreas nails in some beautiful purple and yellow, subconsciously inspired by my T-Shirt I think. To create the design I am going to use mega gloss which is thicker than normal topcoat and I will do two layers between my art. For the artwork, I want to create a spring look so I have chosen to do a daffodil in One Stroke. I hope you enjoy the video and have a great easter xxxx

Oh, that's lovely I'm really hoping that the center cup of that daffodil stops looking like an oddly made up eye by the time it's done. :-s When I had a very artistic nail tech she used to do some paintings and sometimes I could see odd things in the paintings. I always have my nails designed to be right side up to the onlooker and upside down to me, unless I turn my hand around to face me, so that's probably why I saw birds or fish or maybe even a face in the upside-down (to me) art. Human brains constantly search for patterns and recognizable shapes in unfamiliar things.

Puff ball skirts to come back no no no, unless you want comedy moments, a little story my youngest sister had one in dark grey teamed with a black polo neck t shirt, black tights and flat shoes, hair tied back into a ponytail my cousin was dressed the same(so much for individualality then) so she made the mistake of asking our dad how she looked and he replied all you need now is a bone through your noses and your complete, after that this said skirt found its way into the bin after a while

I AM LOVING the full sets grom start to finish and the 3 times a week upload. but the last 2 days I been disappointed with the quick looks again and short videos. I dont like having all the different parts like part 1 part 2 part 3 unless each part is a full look lol just wanted to give my friendly feed back like you asked. thank you for sharing on this lovely Saturday

My favorite dress as a little girl was a black wrap around with pink trim and lots of different colored umbrellas floating around I was about 8 and then when I was 11 I had a white bubble skirt with those neon socks. You put 2 or 3 pairs on and roll them down and wear them with white Tommy's. It was when that Tiffiny song came out. I think we're alone now and the movie Lambada. I olso had a Ghost Busters overall. Lol Can't wait for part 3.

The stamen (male reproductive organs) are the thin stalks w/pollen producing bulbs at the tops that surround the pistil at the very center of the flower. The pistil is the female reproductive organ, it's larger in girth at the base & overall height than the surrounding stamen. The pistil is taller than the stamen to keep the flower from pollinating itself.

I too like yellow and purple together, I have a few dresses that have these colors together and they have a lovely flower pattern (not a crazy pattern mind you) and one is just simple but well balance with these colors, anyways lovely manicure as always. and now I'm off once again to watch part three see you there.

This is stunning, Kirsty. I appreciate it so very much when you do designs using the acrylic paints rather than gel polish. Gel polish is so expensive (for the average individual) and obtaining a complete colour range is nearly impossible for those of us simply doing our own nails. You are such an inspiration

I swear to god the nail techs in my area are clueless. If you ever go on tour or do a social media convention in US advertise it. I would fly to see you in US. You could do my nails as a sample and I bet you would be booked solid every time you spoke.

Tuba is the big brass horn. Stamen are the parts of the flower I believe you are referring to. I've never seen daffodils that colour. They are either all yellow, or white petals, and a yellow corona/cup. And Kirsty what did you do to your thumb?
