Ive used your acrygel very recently and when I took them off I had to do the same process to remove them as you did. I filed the top coat and a lil bit of the acrygel, put an acetone soaked cotton ball on the nail and cover with a nail clip (use foil otherwise. After ten min I took off. Filed the softened layer and continued the process until it was completely off. Took about 15-20 min depending on how much you file down.

The urban graffiti top coat is non-porous. and IT WILL not accept acetone into it's life (that a psychic reading if there ever was) Haaaaaaahahahaaaaa Hilarious I'm a pro but not a nail pro. Love the mix between oh let's just be done with it and call it foil and the quantum physics of various spellings of the correct term (still don't know it) haaaahahaha Good laugh, lying on the floor already Hahaha

Thank you so much. this is a great product for beginners and the more advanced as it gives you two options. To file or soak off. As a beginner, you would go with the soak option so as not to harm the clients natural nail is what Im understanding. This was a great tutorial Once again youve outdone yourself Hitting all bases, educational and funny.

This is interesting. So a while ago i bought some cheap UV Soak off gel to test and the behaviour of that is exactly what i see with the Acrygel. And let me tell you this DOESN't soak off. It gets a little soft and you can scrape at it but it gets hard again and in the end you have to file it anyway or spend hours of soaking and scraping at it.

Iv noticed that with acrylic gel mix including dipping and polygel/acrygel that is soaks in layers even with the foil. I found if I left it for a few mins the first layer would be soft but comes off best with a file then repeat till get to the last bit then soak and scrap that last bit so not to file the natural nail to much. X

I have a fun idea for a Halloween nail - nails that look all ragged and torn at the ends, yellowing, bloody etc. Be fun to see you make something look like the nails in the horror movies (maybe that can be popped off easily for costume wear. Just a thought, everyone makes fancy Halloween nails, what about really gross ones?

A bit of a subject change. I have recently shut my thumb in a car door and bust it up I need to cut my nail down as it's an overlay. I keep catching it but I have some acrylic left on. What's the best way to do it. Please help it's very painful Ps I have gross pics if required but not for the weak stomach lol
