Andrea's Sexy Curves - Curved Acrylic Colour Blocking

Today we're going to do some sexy curves using colour blocking on Andrea. Andrea's had her nails on for 5 weeks already so we're going to remove the stones and file off most of the acrylic with an efile. Push back the cuticles and exfoliate them. Blend the acrylic into the natural nail and prep the natural nail as you usually would. I'm going to put a thin layer of Clear Acrylic on the natural nail to prevent staining and add some strength to the nail. I'm going to do the pointer finger entirely in Crazy Coral Shimmer. I'm doing the same with the Top Banana on the pinky finger and encapsulate both of those nails in Clear. For the middles finger, I'm going to use Natural Beige from the cuticle to halfway down the nail, starting the curve design. It should create half a super deep smile line. On the ring finger, we're going to do the same but flipped so the curve starts on the other side of the nail and higher up and doing the same on the thumb so each nail has a different curve. Once the acrylic is set, I'm going to file each curve so it's smooth, keeping the file at a 90-degree angle to the nail. I'm then going to use a second colour and create a thin line against the Natural Beige, creating another crisp line, repeat this on the other two nails before filing. Do the same with the other colours, creating the curves across the nail. Go through the normal filing routine for the single colours nails to smooth out the nail and use an efile for the designs to create crisp lines. Buff over all the nails. Top Coat the nails with the designs on and use Acrygel to apply stone to the plain nails

When I was a little kid I ate a lot of rhubarb, bc we had it in our garden/backyard. I remember looking for a long and thick rhubarb, and then getting some sugar in a cup, dipping the rhubarb in it before eating it. MMM, loved the taste I think this is fairly usual in Norway. Love your videos, you make it look so easy. When I watch you, my anxiety takes a little break, so thank you for that: ) Hugs from Norway.

Those are so pretty. I wish my salon would do nails that long mine are less than half the length and they keep trying to get me to go shorter. But my thought is if I wanted shorter nails I wouldn't be paying for them I would leave them natural.

Wow These are awesome. I love the creativity and uniqueness of the design. That yellow is like a neon sign, it's damn near blinding lol. Edit: Where did you get that picker up tool you used for the gems? I love the colour of it

I've never heard of rhubarb or custard described as being sweet lol. Isn't custard like pudding? I guess it could be sweet, but I think of sweet as being very sugary. Lol. And rhubarb would be like the anti-sweet.

Of those colors, I like the coral and neon yellow-green best. I have some clothes that have designs with coral and teal or peach and aqua. I like the color combination. I'd like to see you use those colors.
