Merry Christmas guys. Today were going to do some Christmassy, frosty flower nails with a new technique. Ive already filled Andreas nails so Im going to start with Charmed from the pearly collection on the pointer, middle and pinky finger. For the ring finger Im going to use Miami Beach and do two coats of both colours. Im then going to topcoat the pearly nails and buff the pink nails. Im then going to put Acrygel - Its Clear Dear over the whole nails, top coat and then cover with Superfine Glitter - C14. Before curing, Im going to use a spatula to carve in lines like a Candy Cane design. Ill cure it and then dust off all of the excess bits. On the pearly nails, Im going to buff the Top Coat a bit and then use my pink gel polishes to paint the first layer of a flower. Ill apply one layer of top coat and then do another, slighter lighter layer of petals. Im going to repeat this until Im happy with the design, adding in a bit of white detail too. Im going to add green stems and leaves to the flowers and finish with a full cover of top coat. Im also going to add bling, obviously

These are a lovely frost-inspired set, to be sure, but there's nothing candy cane about them. I like the sort of bubble rose design, but I'm not sure if the bottom layers are visible. I really like the frost striped nails. That's a really cool effect. I kind of want to do it with dog/cat paw prints running diagonally up one nail and down the other. Maybe with a grassy green underneath the heavy frost/light dusting of snow.

It was 43 degrees celcius here in Melbourne, Victoria today Lol These nails would fit in with us right now. I actually put a VERY similar colour polish on my nails todayscience with Kirsty Wonder if it would look good over a marbled nail? Hope you all have and amazing Christmas and a kick arse new year xoxoxo
