In this video, were going to do a Christmas lantern nail.
Im going to start by sculpting the nail over a tip and file as normal.
Im going to use 2 coats of Indecisive as a base for my design. Im then going to sketch out the outline of the lantern in watered down Serious Black. Im going to use Hazard to create the glow of the lantern and go a little bit further out than the lantern itself. Ill also add a flame with Atomic Tangerine and Opps. Ill then go back with Serious Black and outline the lantern and add the holder. Im going to Top Coat and then add foil. Finish with cuticle oil
calichef1962: Oh, what a lovely design I could see this as a featured nail in a Victorian Christmas set. I do wish wed gotten a look at the night time look with the lantern glowing, though. But thats OK its not hard to imagine, or even replicate should I feel incomplete without seeing the lantern glow. Date: 2019-12-13
